Have to say that picture brought a tear to my eye. Geez this event has to be the most bring even to cover ever watching a bunch of boxes being loaded into a truck seeing it cross the street only to be unloaded.
Pete I guess this day sort of evens out covering the last day at the stadium the highs and lows of a yankee beat writer
The new stadium has loading docks and private garages which I guess means future generations will never get to see the players make the “Walk of Shame/Fame” from the stadium to the parking lot.
Interesting that most people simply out and about have no idea what’s in that truck.
Hope the truck has EZ-Pass.

Great story. Compelling and rich.
The picture’s cut off, but the truck actually says:
Carl Pavanover
Resting and Storage, Co Inc.
At least he’s useful for one thing.
wonder if they filled the tank first…
One of Peter’s better stories.
I completely disagree.
Pete, you’re totally wrong. Your analysis couldn’t be further off.
Let’s get some serious discussion here.
