I have a soft spot for Melky and so I'd like to see him do well just from that standpoint. But, I can see the value that Gardner brings as a 4th outfielder, late-inning defensive replacement, base-running threat. Unless he's taken some serious bunting lessons and gets a better feel for the strike zone, though, I don't see him as a full-time starter. I think as a full-time player, Melky is more the guy - but only if he's able to bounce back and show that last year he just couldn't get back on track. I don't see Damon in CF because of the wear and tear on his legs and his arm. But, I guess anything can happen. Russell
