Roberts is not going to get sued, and is not going to jail. What might happen, however, is that if she digs into the gutter, the backlash might just accomplish the opposite of what she apparently is hoping for, and ARod might finally become accepted in NY.

the goverment goes after players that lie under oath,arod did not do that.they might wan’t to ask him about dealers,etc but he won’t get into trouble.

i think he will because novitzky appears to be a zealot who is obsessed with knocking athletes off their perch. he was behind clemens being called before congress when the country was going down the tubes financially.

novitzky gets his salary. what does he care about wasting federal resources on his obsession?

he’ll have his people question arod or do it himself.

They already said arod will NOT be called before a congressional hearing – THEY JUST SAID THAT YESTERDAY. i dont know why people are bringing it back up today.

Also, do you really think that arod could have test positive for roids in 2004 or later and none of us would know about it or the yankees organization?? Dont you remember hearing about all of the other players who have tested positive in the last few years? You actually think arod would be able to keep it a secret after testing starter? I think one of the fines is that the entire public learns about it – that is actually part of the punishment for doing it now. Its impossible that arod got caught on the yanks and no one knew.
