Mickey Rivers - one of my all-time favorites. I loved the way he'd walk up to the plate like a 90 year old and then blaze around the bases. Pete: how's he doing?

Goose? He was better when he was still hoping for enough votes to get into the Hall. Now he's just a pompous windbag and whiner.

Girardi's job will not be saved if Alex apologizes...puts up MVP numbers...hits .450 with 4 homers in the 1st round but the Yanks lose .

All Alex has to do when he arrives at camp is apologize in person...(phone apologies are for the weak) and tell Joe G he will play his heart out for the team.

Girardi will be judged by his record this year...as will Alex...and deservedly so.

Pat M, not many remember Kubek as anything but a shortstop, but, for the first half of his career, he played SS, 2B, 3B, but a lot of LF, but a lot of CF, too when Mantle was hurt. Boyer also played a lot of SS. How many people besides you and me remember than the CF in 1967 and 1968 was JOE PEPITONE?

LOL SJ. Okay sadly that made me laugh.

I'm sure there is a 12 step program out there we can adapt for such a shameful admission.

Hector Lopez, wow, there is a name from my childhood. Haven't thought about him in years. If I remember right, a great utility guy. Played alot in left field, though I could be wrong. Brought back that feeling I used to get as a kid listening to my transistor under the pillow so my folks wouldn't bust me. Thanks.
