Pat, that would be a coup, but, i doubt that it’s probable. It would certainly make the idea of Chamberlain or Hughes as an eighth/ninth inning more tolerable.
I’m curious what the plans are when Alex come into camp. I heard he is going to address the media from inside the dugout. My suggestion if they happen to read this is put up a mic stand with everyones mic on it that way everyone isn’t crowded around him. It can get overwhelming. And have his teammates sitting on either side of him with the media sitting on the steps.
A Rod is terrific about signing. He’s actually great at interacting with the fans. On thr afternoon of the last game played at the Stadium he came out on the field and obliged as many as possible till Security told him it was time for him to go inside.
Brian Bruney is a very, very important member of this team. We need him to fill the right handed set up spot for Mo. He’s got terrific stuff and it looks like he’s taking his conditioning seriously. He’s seems to have matured a lot and seems like an easy kid to root for.
Look at that picture… not one kid there It is mainly dealers out there and older folk… second, Alex is probably the best signing out of him, Jeter, and Posada. When he rehabbed here he signed for at least 20 people 4 out of the 6 days. Also, I doubt Jackson comes here as the Rays traded him for Matt Joyce.
Very nice, unselfish act by Brian. Plus, More important He’ll be a main cog for our pen!!!!!!!
GB7, Love to add Edwin Jackson to the staff…..Dynamite power arm…I remember when he came up as a 20year old with the Dodgers, Wow………..
Pete you rock!! I’ve disagreed with you on the unmentionable. But you have the most rocking blog out there! Great work!!

Jennifer, I believe they’ve changed that to having it in a room of some size and make the setting more like Pettitte’s press conference, last year.
Oh okay thanks Green, it really didn’t make sense to hold it in the dugout too many people in too small of a place.
I wonder if Arod will sign autographs…nah..he will dilute his Steiner Sports value.
Tantron: I go every year. A-Rod signs a lot of autographs for fans. Jeter too.

Bruney has lost so much weight I wonder if fans recognized him.
