Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse Me!
I may be wrong, but all this talk has been about ‘shoulder surgery’. I don’t think it is an apt term if we on talking about a bone spur on his collar bone. Shoulder surgery usually has terrible connotations, usually meaning structural damage that directly affects how you throw. A collarbone bone spur is no fun… but am I wrong in thinking this is NOT near as bad as what we think about when we hear ‘shoulder surgery’?????

Bob Sheppard was on WFAN with Ed Randell this morning. Said he was down to 103 pounds, and his doctors wouldn’t let him return to work until he was at 145 pounds and had stamina. Today, he says he’s at 145 1/2 and has two months to work on the stamina.

He sounded optimistic!
