Even with a $200m payroll, that averages to $8m per player. Therefore, with ARod getting $24m/yr, we need 2 ‘kids’ (cheap/cost controlled) to balance him out. CC getting $23m also takes 2 more kids. Tex, at $23m takes another 2 kids. I believe this is why Cashman is keeping our BP of mostly (cheap) kids. Can you speak to ouy payroll, and with long term contracts, how important cost-controlled kids our.

The questions are being screened to weed out the stupid ones. However, I have asked a couple good ones that no one has asked and all baseball related (not A-Rod) that haven’t gone through so who knows…
