Pete, no doubt that Cash is pissed, but I think you comments out of context. The rest of his statement is warmer:

That’s probably the best healthy dose of medicine that he can ever get.”

I wonder how “angry” Cashman will still be at A-Rod if he is standing on the podium this October accepting the World Series trophy from Bud Selig after his 3rd baseman just helped the team he put together win that elusive 27th championship.

Winning will go a very long way in smoothing things over ,,, at least in Yankeeland.

Once I heard he was going to receive $30M in incentives for breaking the HR record…I thought, if the NYY can’t get out of giving him that money…it should go to that dude Don’s foundation. The afternoon/night the HR record is broken…the next day, don’t have a press conference, don’t call in the world….just give that guy the $30 million for his foundation. Nothing to think about, just do it, do the right thing, Alex.
