Pete, you’re a post factory. Do they pay you by the post?
Also, for those interested in the A-Rod saga (is there anyone else out there?) yankees.com has a good article with some player/manager reactions to A-rod’s admission. http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com.....8;c_id=nyy It’s good to hear other players supporting him. Mike Sciosa had the best opinion in my mind. And now enough is enough. Play ball.
Do you think this press conference will be remembered in the minds of Hall of Fame voters in the at minimum 14 years from now when Alex is first eligible for the Hall of Fame?
ARod has asked us to judge him from this day forward. If he puts up HOF #’s for the next 9 years, is he a HOF’er? If so, let’s worry about that 9 years from now and worry about winning a championship this year.
I can not believe some people thought that the guy in the black T was CC. lol
CC is in the other picture standings to the right of Joba. He’s not visible in Pete’s pic.
The guy in the glasses isn’t the PR dude. He’s Felix Lopex the son-in-law.
From the last post, as these are coming out every few minutes.
All you ever wanted to know about Primobolan, below. Heard the scripted replay when I got home. Thought he also took testosterone to build muscle mass more quickly? that was not asked.
Taking this injectible form of what probably was primobolan, since he tested positive, and stating he didn’t know exactly what he was injecting because he was “young and stupid,” just doesn’t fly with me.
He’s no dummy and I’m sure he went on the internet to research what he was taking, before relying on the advice of his Dominican cousin, who is what?-bodybuilder? nutritionist? doctor?
However I forgive him, and hope he and the Yankees can move on. I’d like him to request the Yankees not to give him the bonus money for reaching homerun milestones, as I believe that interferes with his overall approach at the plate. On top of that I’d like to see him donate part of his wealth to a worthwhile charity plus paying to put kids in the seats at the new stadium.
The thing about A-rod that pisses me off, is that he never said he has been a distraction for the team for about the past 15 months. He only talks about his divorce and him being in the paper especially page 6
A-rod you are a huge distraction and the number of questions the team has to answer about you is out of contro.
Seeing all of them together in one place just made me really excited for the season. I can’t wait to put this steroids business behind us and for the season to start. Play ball!
That’s Jonathan Albaladejo lookin like a bouncer. He’s WAY bigger than CC. CC is standing behind Joba (you can’t see him in this pic but you can in SA’s linked pic).
qhat questions does the team need to answer about his personal life exactly? Have you ever read a Yankee comment on Madonna, his divorce or anything other than baseball related stuff and the steroid thing now?? Nope. All that stuff is for the readers of a paper and Arod. Arod in a way eats up all the bad press. CC, AJ and Teixeira won’t be under the microscope. Arod will. I am sure that the steroid questions if they keep coming up will be a pain, but the distractions prior to this are almost all on Arod himself and performing and the ongoing media desire to keep the Jeter Arod drama alive.
i THINK people are taking the young and naive part too literally and as some kind of justification. He wasnt trying to justify his reason for doing it – he was trying to say there was no legit reason and he was just stupid. Young and naive is a translation for stupid without actually saying it. He tried to take the line that it was really a product of the times because no one seemed to care about players using and he tried to say he used to try and live up to expectations and nobody seemed to like that.
So this time he came out and said that the blame should be placed solely on him and not the times or the enivronment or the weighty expectations but the only reason he did it was because he was stupid and ignorant. And again, nobody seems to like that either. So clearly arod cant win with certain people. He says little and people say he didnt say enough. He says everything and people dont like the answers. He will not want to drag it out and people will say he is avoiding responsibility.
He will do well and people will say he is still using or he will do badly and people will say see it was all the roids. He could cure cancer and people will say he neglected the AIDS epidemic. He could start a foundation and people will say he isnt donating money or he could donate money and people will say that isnt enough involvement and he should use his time to form a foundation.
He could do both and people will say he is just trying to conceal the fact that he is a cheater with this display. He can address every single question and people will say he is using too many excuses. If he gave his cousins name, he would be a rat if he didnt, he would be aiding a criminal. Arod just cant win with the people that probably never liked him to begin with.
After looking at some google photos of Albaladejo, I’m having doubts that that’s really him. It doesn’t look anything like Humberto Sanchez either. At this point, I have no idea who that is. LOL.
Who is to blame for that – arod or the people askking all these questions? Change your name by the way – you are in a yankees blog. At least pretend like the fans are not killing arod.
Determining who’s who in that photo is the funnest part of today by a country mile.
Every time I really want to like Damon a lot, I find out something like he loves Sevendust or has a faux-hawk. Youre killing me Johnny!!
Also, the bouncer looking guy, it makes more sense for it to be Sanchez than Albaladejo…Alb. is smaller and lighter skinned than the guy in the pic. Looks much more like Sanchez. And, what is that reddish thing between that guy (Sanchez?) and Damon? I cant tell whether that is part of a person, or an inanimate object lolz
Is it just me, or was it a bad idea to wear an open neck shirt showing exactly how ripped you are when you are claiming you have been clean for 5 years?
“That’s not CC, Albaladejo, or Humberto Sanchez. It’s Mike Harkey.”
That’s what I was thinking. Well, at first I thought it as Melky. I said to myself “I’m shocked that he gained so much weight! He’ll never make the team at this rate!” But then I figured it mut be Harkey.
So, only the “true Yankees” get seats?
CC looks like a bouncer in that shot.
I really do hope that the team rallies behind Alex and that this saga brings the team closer together. It certainly looks like it has …

Phil, where is CC in the picture?
When did we draft a 5’4″ redhead?
Wang looks like he is giving someone the evil eye
That’s Gerrit Cole….burn!
I think today would be a good day for Roger to come out and admit he took steroids
Hank was there too… but WHY?
I’m sure Hank thinks Arod is one of his horseys.
let’s just hope that the red string of Kaballah can ward off this pair of evil eyes!
http://tinyurl.com/bsuksn
I think today would be a good day for Bud Selig to resign.
I found Lance Berkman’s comments interesting. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was one of the 103 names still left to be revealed.
Clearly you need a ring to get a seat if you’re a player.
“Phil, where is CC in the picture?”
He’s not. Not sure where CC was, but he is not visible in that photo.
Mr. Abraham-

That guy doesn’t even resemble CC.
Ok, I want to see CC post-shaving….And then in the post-season. Heyo!
http://cache.daylife.com/image.....K/610x.jpg
CC is in that picture
Was CC at the presser? I see Tex and Joba, but not CC.
Nice. This is like Name That Yankee. I can’t tell who is wearing that Affliction shirt in the front of the section between Tex? and Nady.
I didn’t know Wang was so tall.
I wonder if when someone yells out to Brett – “Hey Gardner”
does Felix Lopez turn around and look?
That’s CC? I thought it was Meachem.
Is that Bruney with his arms crossed? He looks thin as a rail.
And is that Hughes in front of Nady? I can’t tell because he’s not squinting.
Jorge looks like he’s sitting in front of the principal.

Haha!
So the guy sitting next to Mo in the first row, with the dark glasses and the shoe lifts was the GOP spinmeister?
Meacham got fired.
I can not believe some people thought that the guy in the black T was CC. lol

That’s Felix Lopez
The guy next to Mo is Felix Lopez.
Seems Phil Hughes and Andy like the same designer Ts. Affliction.
was cc their, didn’t see him in the photo
Hughes is in back of Nady(I think it’s Nady) and I can’t see what he is wearing
THE LINK S.A. PUT IS A DIFFERENT ANGLE WITH CC IN IT.
IS THAT JOHNNY D SPORTING THE BIG FO-HAWK SITTING ON THE LEDGE IN THE BACK???
EVERYONE LOOKS SO HAPPY.
LOL – that’s right. Felix is the pool boy.
p.s. The other affliction wearing guy is Brett Tomko.

In back Of Wang, yes.
I thought Hughes was standing behind Rivera. Wearing the blac affliction.
Nice to see the team supporting A-Rod.

cc is in the picture hes behind joba
No Hughes is behind Nady for sure. Not sure who is behind Andy, but those are the coaches or staff I believe.
Albaladejo? Really? I thought it was Humberto Sanchez.
http://cache.daylife.com/image.....K/610x.jpg
This is a much better pic. Has CC and Johnny in it as well.
Damon is sporting a fo-hawk(standing behind Wang)
The guy in the affliction is not Phil.
Phil is behind Nady.
CC is next to Joba.
Over Andy’s left shoulder is Tony Pena.
Albaladejo doesn’t look that tan in his player photo. I heard he lost weight, too.
We need to play “Guess that Yankee” more often.

I think it is Sanchez
Albaladejo was not that big, as I recall. Humberto Sanchez, maybe?
Havent seen enough of Sanchez to determine if its him.
After looking at some google photos of Albaladejo, I’m having doubts that that’s really him. It doesn’t look anything like Humberto Sanchez either. At this point, I have no idea who that is. LOL.
I understand that Lance can’t feel sorry for Alex. Lance needs to save his pity and support for his own team mate.
Any idea who the short guy with the hat is in front of CC (to Joba’s right) is?
Amaaazing photo Pete! I’m stealing it
A fraud,
Who is to blame for that – arod or the people askking all these questions? Change your name by the way – you are in a yankees blog. At least pretend like the fans are not killing arod.

I think Robertson or Gardner
That’s not CC, Albaladejo, or Humberto Sanchez. It’s Mike Harkey.
Is it just me, or was it a bad idea to wear an open neck shirt showing exactly how ripped you are when you are claiming you have been clean for 5 years?
I know guys who are that ripped, who have never touched anything in their lives.
In Pete’s photo, Wang was giving Felix Lopez the evil eye. In SA’s photo, Jeter is giving us the evil eye.
CC looks like a bouncer. I can’t wait to see him pitch in pinstripes.
“In Pete’s photo, Wang was giving Felix Lopez the evil eye. In SA’s photo, Jeter is giving us the evil eye.”
I may need to borrow A-Rod’s bracelet then, after I get it from Felix Lopez.
