I am looking for a professional sports picker and can't make up my mind. There are so many services to choose from. I am kind of leaning towards this guy after watching his video on sports picks. He claims a 97% success rate which I find hard to believe, I would be happy with a 60% success rate. Anyway, it's backed by a clickbank guarantee. I have bought products through clickbank before and I can trust them. I was just wondering what other people thought about these kinds of products?

YankeePankee, you are so right about Yankee minor leaguers coming up to the majors without knowing the fundamentals. Given the money they spend, you'd think they would take up your idea and do whatever it takes to make sure they don't come up so raw -- not even knowing how to bunt, or not knowing that it's a bad idea (I'm talking to you, Melky) to watch the ball in the outfield instead of watching the 3rd base coach and running for all you're worth. And while they're at it, can somebody explain to these guys that eating a steady diet of junk food doesn't help their performance?

And Trish (the Pipsqueak). I am a fancy pants, but how in the world did you know?

LOL - A.J. Burnett is OK after getting hit on the left triceps by a comebacker. He said it hit him on his Bruce Lee tattoo. He's going to face the Red Sox on Tuesday in his next outing.

**Per Pete, AJ is throwing in a minor league game and not against the Sox, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. LO

Bruney is COMPETING for a spot as the 8th inning guy. He has talked a big game all Spring only to get lit up.

----------------

It's still Spring Training. These numbers don't often carry over to the regular season.

Moose got hammered last ST. Wang got hammered last ST. Billy Traber was lights out. So was LaTroy Hawkins. Phil Hughes was also excellent. So was Ian Kennedy.

Cano was murdering the ball last ST. So was Melky and Jason Giambi.

What do all of these guys have in common?

NONE of their ST results carried over to the regular season.

I'm not ready to toss Bruney in the can, but if he has a rough start the Yankees have many other options besides Joba.

Is there no chance Joba ever returns to a relief role? I would never say never, but a lot of guys would have to fall on their face first.

If ST results are meaningless... why do any teams have competitions in the Spring?

I never said I wanted Joba back in the pen. He is a starter, period. All I’m doing is illustrating the difference between Joba and Bruney.

----------

What's the point, then?

One is a starter and the other is a reliever.

Hello Folks.

Some ideas.

If any sound especially good, let's forward them to the Yankee player development office for some feedback.

#Josh Bard, cut by the Red Sox, should be picked up by Yanks.

He's Cash's equal on defense and- more importantly - he's a switch hitter.

#The Yanks have too many talented setup and middle relief guys on the verge of making the parent team.

Albaladejo, Melancon, Jackson..etc.

Why not take a few of the pitchers who have more than one pitch and who might have been starters in high school or college and make them starting pitchers in the minors?

Any team can use excess starters and they're more valuable in trades than middle relievers.

# Make sure Edwar Gonzalez needs to start at Scranton, not a retread minor league vet. He had a good winter ball season and we need to see what he can do.

# The Yanks must have a few specialized coaches teach all minor leaguers who are not lead-footed sluggers how to bunt, take leads and steal. They're weak in this area. You can see it when prospects come up (Melky, Cano..)

Look up Syd Thrift's theories about how he ran his minor league staff. Inventive guy who made a difference.

What do we think?

Regards.

Who cares what someone's pedigree is? Bruney is not the same pitcher he was a few years ago and I would think the fact that he put off surgery to try and help his team last year would buy him some slack from the fans. Then again, I never thought I'd see Yankee fans boo Jeter and/or Mo, so what do I know?
