The new Yankee Stadium ticket prices are incredibly expensive. As a Yankee fan I wish my team the best.

However, the Stadium prices are an Epic Failure and I hope they don't even fill the New Stadium on a Red Sox or other rival night.

This is so sad, heartbreaking and redefines the greed for money.

Shame on the Yankees organization and shame on MLB for letting this happen.

Minor League and College Baseball is where I'm headed to this summer. Screw the New Yankee Stadium, I'll never set foot in that place even if I had $2600.00 for a seat.

That's ridiculous!!! What fool would waste that kind of money for a baseball game?

I mean really--please name some people that would waste that kind of money and say it was worth it. You have got to be kidding me. Even "disposable income" folk would tell you that this is blatantly wrong--unless they are part of the situation.

Greedy Bastards! I hope the Stadium FAILS MISERABLY!

I agree with everything Stuart said. They must have known about this for a while and nothing has been done yet to fix the problem. It makes me think that it's not an easy fix. If on April 16th we see the netting then we know it's going to be a major TV viewing issue.

I watched Friday's broadcast of the Yankees vs. Cubs and I was shocked and appalled at what I witnessed. The camera shots from behind home plate were simply horrific! The ever-present mesh netting was intrusive, distracting and gave the telecast the look and feel of a spring training game! It's astonishing that this $1.5 billion dollar palace could be designed with such a fatal flaw! Somehow, someway, something must be done to correct this problem. What a travesty!

Not a Yankee fan, but in Taiwan thats all they seem to show on ESPN (rebroadcast of YES games) due to Wang mania, so I watch a lot of games. Being a Red Sox fan I don't have to say who I root for, although I do like your various combo of announcers more than the idiots on NESN. And of course, the Red Sox broadcast from NY 9-10 games per year so lousy camera angles are a big deal, as it dampens the joy of victory.

I tend to turn off games played in parks with lousy camera angles if it's not a big game. The WBC was a perfect example, some games you could not see the pitch cross the plate because of the umpire. If not corrected, this may hurt ratings, depending on how bad the problem is. I expect the problems will be corrected, even if they have to lose some seats, and it is good they discovered the problem earlier rather than later.

I guess it's that ring curse from 2000 that still follows the Yankees. This kind of mistake is what you see from the KC and Tampa Bays of the world, not NY. Give the scouts their ring already and end the curse.

wood is good - where does it say that rule has been changed. The A to Z guide still says "Please note that only Field Level and Legends ticket holders have access to the Field Level."

Also, the stadium has wifi, yet the A to Z guide says that laptops are banned. Is the wifi only for the suites, or for smartphones?

Terrific. For a $1.5 billion stadium it certainly has it's share of problems. I guess it's a pretty good metaphor for the team itself.

This is just the trial and error and shakedown period that will be needed to figure out, "what's best for the fans." The Yankees will makes sure they have the best camera positions for optimal viewing. This is just part of the process.

Let's also remember that these are the Yankees, so whatever they do relative to on the field and off the field decision will be scrutinized all the more. I have a feeling people will be raving about the stadium come the "real" opening day 4/16.

One other thing, I am a partial season (11 game) ticket plan holder and received my call yesterday with my ticket package so the relocation process is still taking place.

why is it surprising that the guy who forced torre out would be so shortsighted. Ridiculous game seat prices; arrogance; seats where you pay to only see half the field and poor tv viewing. randy levine has done it again. when will the yankees get rid of this loser. he was only hired from the guliani administration to fleece the city into public funding of the stadium. he certainly had no other expertise in running a baseball club.
