Neither is a particularly good fielder and neither has shown they are anything special at the plate at the major league level - though having several chances to prove so. Stick with what we've got in-house - Ransom has done well. ARod will be back soon enough. (Oh wait, I forgot he got traded for Atkins...) I don’t think either Lamb or McPherson is a step up from Ransom.
