CC Sabathia is 5-0, 2.38 against Baltimore in his career, 3-0, 2.60 in four starts at Camden Yards.
“I don’t know the stats but I know I’ve pitched well here,” he said. “I’m excited to get the season started.
Meanwhile, Baltimore native Mark Teixeira will have a bunch of people at the game tomorrow. He said that while he considered the Orioles and Nationals, he wanted to be a Yankee. “I had some of my buddies call and say some nasty things when I signed with the Yankees,” he said with a laugh. “I expect I’ll get booed.”
It’s just hitting me now in a way that we have CC on our team. He’s just so dependable and such a horse…….I hope we can play tomorrow, but if the conditions are really bad – I’d rather the game be pushed to Tuesday.
Tex better get used to being booed everywhere, lol – such is the lot of a Yankee player.

How many people (sportswriters)knocked David Wells for being overweight???I wonder if they have gotten a load(and I do mean load)of Sabathia yet.Isaw him up close in spring training and I stand at 6″5 270lbs.He dwarfed me in size and girth.C.C.has to weigh about 340lbs at least 30lbs heavier than last season.Nothing like a big fat guaranteed contract to let the body go.GOOD LUCK YANKEES!!!!!
