I'm going to be honest. I really don't need to read any other Yankee blogs except this one. Pete gives us every thing we need on the Yankees and then some.

"It only took two comments for somebody to propose to Kim. That wacky internet."

Pete - don't feel bad. I'm sure all your marriage proposals were sucked up by that wacky filter.

I don't see it as outrageous at all that people think we miss the playoffs. The 3 best teams in baseball are in the AL East, one of them isn't making the playoffs.

All going to come down to injuries and getting off to a fast start.

Damon said the outfield wall plays very hard with no give. It's just a concrete wall.
Renovated YS wall was padded sheet metal that gave when you hit it.
Not everything is going to be the same good or bad when have a new stadium. That's just the way it is.
I guess they could of made it sheet metal but they probably have their reasons why they didn't.

I honestly have no clue as to why these people can't see how good this team can be, but fortunately the games will speak for themselves.

Don't expect much love from any of the Boston papers. About 3 or 4 days ago, I read the Boston Herald's preview (well, glanced at it anyway) and one Michael Silverman was talking about how loosey-goosey the Sox clubhouse was while the new Yankees acted robotic and corporate in their own robotic and corporate clubhouse. I know Silverman can not possibly be talking about THIS Yankee clubhouse and THESE new Yankees.......maybe he entered some parallel universe or something. In any case, reading that told me that these guys are not interested in being objective at all. They are all jumping on the Rays' bandwagon (which is fine - I see them as a very dangerous team)......as for the Sox? The Sox are mature, the Yankees old. LOL
