Here are how the minor-league teams will start their seasons:
Scranton: Jason Johnson will face Lehigh Valley tonight.
Trenton: Eric Hacker started Wednesday night in a 5-3 loss against Binghamton. He allowed one run over 5.1 innings
Tampa: Jason Stephens will start at Lakeland tonight
Charleston: Andrew Brackman will start tonight against Rome. This will be Brackman’s debut with the Yankees.

You crack me up. Please keep doing these 1 a.m. posts for us displaced Yankees fans in Australia as its the middle of our day. Anyway I gotta go, the bridge I’m jumping off is the West Gate Bridge in Melbourne which is in the process of putting up new suicide netting. Its either now or never.
I fear for our Taiwanese compatriots. Taipei has many bridges and one very tall building.
Prediction- Brackman throws a perfect game.. and doesn’t allow an earned run all season.
“Andrew Brackman will start tonight against Rome”
I hope Brackman yells “I’m Spartacus!” before he pitches.
