Gesh talk about fair weather fans. EARTH TO INTERNET NUTS, you are not going to win every game.

Peope started freaking out when the Rays scored 15 runs. What happened next? We won the next 2.

It’s odd for a team to sweep a 4 game series.

You wonder if Jeter should take back his remarks last year “we have the greatest fans in the world”. Too many of these so called fans don’t enjoy the game, all they do is EXPECT wins. And even that isn’t good enough sometimes, you have to win certain ways.

You know i try to defend yankee fans as much as I can but after reading some of these I can see why there are alot of fans of other teams that hate us. GOD FORBID the team have a bad game GOD FORBID the bullpen have a bad game and GOD FORBID the yankees lose a game how dare they treat us fans with such disrespect by not going undefeated. Please fire Girardi? are you serious the man has one mroe manageer of the year trophey than any of us keyboard gm’s have. give me a break and start having a lil friggen faith in your team GO YANKEES, GO GIRARDI, GO MARTE, GO RANSOM, GO VERAS.

Ummmm the West Point cadets aren’t troops. They’re students, in school to be troops. They get free tickets to the first game at the new stadium? They get to participate on the field? How much would you pay for that privilege, even when getting less desirable seats? These are not guys with Purple Hearts and Silver Stars here.

Pete, for someone who speaks rationally about the Yankees being ostentatious with the patriotism at the seventh inning stretch, I found your comment strange… as I find the whole culture of flag/troop worship in this country.
