Stadium just isn’t anything great, especially for the money they spent. Other teams get wonderful new stadiums with fireworks and waterfalls and little parks inside… we just get more frieze…. ummm… yeah, on TV we can’t see all the places where you can take more of our money. Really could care less about all the overpriced food. What you made was a park for the rich and the rich aren’t showing up. You completely ignored the majority of the fans. F you, Yankees management.

Outfield defense is laughable. Infield defense is laughable. Out lineup is shaky. Out bullpen is mediocre. What we have is a great rotation, even with the failure that is Wang. If Wang figures it out, we are great 1-5 and not many teams can say that. We need some changes to balance ourselves out or we will remain a .500 team for the rest of the season and out here on the east coast .500 teams don’t get into the playoffs.

Fan Zone, I do think Yankee fans have taken to AJ – both for his pitching and stuff like kissing Swisher, lol. That said, yes – I expect them to boo the heck out of him whene he seriously blows up (as will happen to any pitcher). They’ll boo CC, they’ve already booed Tex. I wonder if he and CC are disappointed that the passionate crowds they expected to pitch in front of have not materialized……not that it matters in the long run.

M, the FB adds to AJ’s mystique, but also the fact that he is a good old country boy as he describes himself. His whole body is tattooed, lol – he looks like a complete rebel, yet oddly he’s pretty quiet. I don’t think fans knew what to expect of him, but he’s the guy that bought Tex cake and balloons for his birthday and who’s learning Chinese so that he can communicate with Wang. I find him incredibly interesting……and I’m still waiting for him to pie someone, lol.

Joba and Swish together? They need their own plane – I’d be bouncing off the walls if they sat together during a flight to or from the West Coast.

If Kevin Long could throw a breaking ball, he’d be in the bullpen.

The only thing that’s going to help him is a lot of practice with an Iron Mike that’s set up for breaking balls and change-ups. If he could figure that out, he’d make a great utility player.
