S.o.S., he wasn’t wearing a wife beater shirt, but he did have missing teeth and kept asking everyone in the bar where all the “high school girls hang out”…and yes, I did catch him and “politely” mentioned that he should be happy to be in a bar after 1am, as opposed to his hometown, where they all shut down waaaaaaaaaay too early.

I think it is definitely Hughes getting the call..They don’t really have anyone else. I just wish it was a different team he would be facing like the Royals and not the Tigers. The Tigers will probably clobber him. He pitched great last night but he still has to work on his secondary pitches. The pitching coach said his curveball was great but some starts it is there and some it isn’t also his changeup isn’t that good yet. A fastball isn’t gonna get it done especially against the Tigers. We saw that last year. It would be nice if they had a journeyman to bring up so Hughes gets the time that he needs. This is the quotes from his start incase it wasn’t posted here.

Nardi Contreras is based in Tampa but at any given day he’s subject to be at Charleston, Trenton, or Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for his expertise when called on.
He logs a lot of miles up and down the east coast.
