For the second straight day, Alex Rodriguez did some base-running drills in Tampa.

According to the AP, Rodriguez ran four times from the plate to first after swinging a bat, and went from first to second six times. The three-time AL MVP also took 28 swings on curveballs off a pitching machine for the first time. He followed that with 63 swings in regular batting practice.

    I’ll go with 1:37 AM.

May 6 will be his first game with the team. Book it.

I’ve got tix for SWB v. Norfolk on May 3. Note to Yanks: Let A-Rod play a couple AAA games before he rejoins the club. Forget about Trenton; head for the mountains of PA!

Did he slide at all in the baserunning drills?

May 15th. No way they let him play May 12-14 against Toronto on turf.

And I would like to see more of Ramiro Pena (23) rather than Cody Ransom (33) over the next 20 games. Nothing against Cody.
