heres the solution

sign pedro martinez - he'll take over for wang until he returns - if/when wang returns pedro goes to the bullpen to be the long reliever or 7/8 inning guy (depending on bruney's elbow)..you keep hughes and ipk and igawa and jackson and larry, moe and curly in the minors where they belong for the rest of the year

if pedro pitches like he did in the wbc you have a solid pitcher with balls of steel for the playoffs (unlike wang) - if he stinks it up you cut him and lose the $5 mil you signed him for...if the yankees are worried about $5 mil at this point in the history of their franchise then maybe we should become the florida marlins...

lets not make history repeat itself by bringing up not ready for primetime pitchers from the minors that aren't going to do the job yet...

because its kansas city and not boston. kansas city isnt your biggest rival and competition. they are playing boston for first place in the division. the game is just way more important than the game in kansas city. know what im sayin?

haha don't worry about that. i had to gamecast that day and i almost broke my computer when cc was left in for holliday. i'm not a girardi fan at all, so i'm hypersensitive to every move he makes as it is, and this year has just been fuel for the fire so far with these blatant blunders. your thoughts on the inconsistency of not brining mo into KC and bringing him into BOS in the same situation (with us losing both games)?

it's not stupid at all. Unfortunately, Joba is needed more by the team now in the pen than he is in the rotation. If not, Veras and Marte are the 8th inning guys. Good luck with that.

CC, AJ, and Andy can log innings. They need to lengthen the pen and they need to take the training wheels off both Hughes and Kennedy and find out if they can get the job done.

In a perfect world, I'd keep Joba in the rotation. Unfortunately, the team needs him more in the pen than the rotation now.

Without the injuries, I would keep Joba in tv

yea - i am not the biggest giradi fan but i think any manager woulda done the same thing. if you wanna kill giradi for something, kill him for bringing CC out for the 7th in that 14 inning game. and then not coming to get him after he gave up a single, or after he gave up a walk, or after the sacrafice, or after the first run scored, or when matt freakin holliday came up
