I don’t care if he hits 95-96 MPH or not as long as he puts the ball where he wants it and gets outs. Speed is nice…location and movement’s better.

I dunno. He hasn’t topped 96 yet this year, and he’s averaging 92. I’d like to see at least ONE 99 somewhere.

Eh, I’m not so sure about that. I don’t think Joba’s velocity is due to ‘not trying hard enough.’ I wonder if he’s not in the best of shape yet.
