Roster move in the works?

Joe Girardi was late to his postgame media session because he was meeting with Brian Cashman. That usually indicates something is up. No moves were announced, but it would not be a surprise if there was a roster change tomorrow in the bullpen.

If not, there should be.

Edwar Ramirez has put 21 people on base in 10 innings and Jose Veras has a 7.94 ERA. They are at best unreliable at this point. You could make the case that they’re useless.

Juan Miranda was pulled out of the game in Scranton. But that may have only been a precaution in case Nick Swisher was seriously injured. Swisher has a lot of swelling and is doubtful for tomorrow. But he believes it’s a day-to-day thing.

Best line of the night was from Andy Pettitte: “I was in a pretty bad mood before and now I’m in a good mood.”
