I agree. Paul and Kay joke around too much. The worst thing Paul does is talking when the pitcher is delivering the pitch.

I like the job Singleton and Cone do when it’s only the 2 of them doing the game.

Just thought I’d mention this for those of you who are upset about ticket prices at the new stadium.

Last Saturday, I bought tickets to the Yankees/Angels game just hours before gametime. The seats were in section 111 (field level) that sell for about $100. I bought each seat for $30 on stubhub. Those are the seats which are big and cushioned, allow access to every part of the stadium, and even offer in-seat service. Each seat had a little menu in the cupholder and a “waitress” came to take our order and deliver our food.

Pretty neat considering I spent just a tad more than the regular price of grandstand seats. So basically, you can find great seats for great prices if you look in the right places.

They won’t cancel the game until at least an hour after start time, just like Sunday.

I was there – the field was soaked and the rain forecast called for non-stop all day.

The greedy Yanks just wanted to get people into the stadium for a couple of hours to spend money and then cancel the game once the coffers were full.

I am starting to wonder why I still like this team.

So, Pete, you ready to give up on Selena Roberts yet? She’s getting more negative criticism for this book than ARod.

Chilling exchange on WFAN today between her and Craig Carton, in which she wouldn’t apologize for her public lynching of the Duke Lacrosse players.

I can say this about Burnett’s system: whoever put it together knows their top-end gear.

Pairing B&W speakers w/a McIntosh amp would create a sound field to make you weep.

For those who don’t have the $$$ for B&W, I’d recommend investing in Paradigm speakers. They are Canadian gems.

Equipment from Canada is always a wise route as it can be up to 30% cheaper than its American or European counterparts. This is attributable to the fact that the Canadian government foots the bill for R&D.

Actually, HGTV had a show on (forget which one) where they showed people putting home theaters very similiar to AJ’s in their basements. Was very cool.

Tom Verducci probably still hasn’t gotten over getting kicked off YES’s Hot Stove show for being too negative about the Yankees. He’s done a good rip-job of all things Yankees since then, so I’m sure him defending Selena Roberts and ripping a) people who doubt her book’s legitimacy b) Joe Girardi c) the Yankees are all no-brainers for him.

As for tonight’s game why don’t you people wait until around 5 to start bandying about your predictions about whether the weather will cooperate or not.
