Girardi said Arod will play 3B today for 7 innings and tomorrow then DH on Wednesday and then they will see where he is… In Girardi talk that meant if he feels good on Wed. then he could return Friday in Baltimore.

I was wondering if it is possible to give us a visual of what the press box looks like. I was thinking maybe next time you do a live blog you could point the camera both ways or something? It would just be cool to see what you get to experience everyday. Thanks for everything; the blog is awesome.

Cash is on with Kay and Kay is criticizing Girardi…..I know they’re very good friends, so I guess this is just a media thing. I don’t know anyone that thinks that what Joe did was wrong in any way…

Is Kay playing “devil’s advocate?” He seems to like to do that. Or is he genuinely criticizing Joe?
Oops, Cash is not on – Kay must be just playing a clip of Cash. I’m sort of flipping Kay on and off because I don’t feel like listening to more media bashing. He’s not going over the top, but he basically said Joe is naive, etc.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Alex was inserted as a DH if scouting video / reports show that Matsui has a tough time with a certain pitcher or to just simply give his knees a rest.
Any game the team is holding a sizeable lead, Ramiro Pena takes over at 3rd base.

Doreen, Kay just said that Joe is not living in the real world if he doesn’t understand why people would write books about public figures. Frankly, it seems like the media really just doesn’t get it – they can’t seem to understand what Joe was trying to say (even though Kay and Girardi are good friends). Maybe Joe is naive, so what? I’m naive too – it’s not a bad thing. The whole point is that Joe was trying to back his beleagured player. I’m sort of tired of this whole thing – I think the media is out of touch and I don’t even want to hear Kay’s take on it anymore.

That makes no sense. Why did the author eliminate white and black players? They don’t cheat? A-Rod is from Miami…I know he’s part Dominican but I really think it is a stretch to say he’d only cheat with Dominicans. Just seems like it doesn’t add much to the discussion.
