"Actually, Albaladejo has been the bullpen workhorse lately, 9 appearances in 16 games. I doubt the Yanks will send him down."

I am not saying what I think the Yanks will do. I'm saying what the Yanks SHOULD do. Albaladejo stinks, get rid of him.

The Arizona Snakes fired manager Bob Melvin and his hitting coach. The pitching coach resigned.

Who will be next to get the axe ?

@86...

If CC starts carrying his weight, does that mean he's carrying the weight of TWO pitchers? :P

Actually Melancon might be the one to send down if there aren't going to release anyone. He needs to regain his control/command from his recent outings.

One way or the other they need to get to 12 pitchers. I'd like to see them at 11 once the starters start carrying their weight, but that may never happen.

I'm sure that at some point this season the team will start to gel and put some winning streaks together. What I am worried about is that it'll be too late. Mo has not been the Mo we all know and that is a cause for concern. What if something is wrong with Mo OR the fact that at 39 he's no longer the Mo we all knew? Does that reignite the Joba to the bullpen arguments? Right now, the best player on this team is Johnny Damon, but he can't throw the ball more than 20 feet without it being on a hop.

However, I still will be rooting for them every game and I think that they have the talent to turn this thing around once the injuries have been healed. I mean, who would've thunk that Posada AND Molina would be out at the same time? The Yanks are just snakebit right now.

Teix needs a night off desperately. Not a lot of options to back him up. Playing Swish at first and GGBG in the OF will be sparkless at the this point. They need to have Miranda to spell Teix. And Miranda is actually on the 40 man. lol.

Fire Girardi like Billy Martin in '78. Your Bob Lemon here is good old Buck Showalter, the manager who rebuilt the Yankees into a postseason contender.

Moves that should be done TODAY:

- Molina to DL

- Bring A-rod off the DL

- DFA Berroa

- Call up Kevin Cash

- Nady to 60-day DL

- Send Albaladejo down

- Call up Todd Linden or John Rodriguez

Moves that should be done in the FUTURE:

- Bruney off the DL

- Send Ramirez down

- Marte off the DL

- DFA Veras

- Posada off the DL

- Send down Cervelli

- Molina off the DL

- DFA Cash

- Nady off the DL

- DFA Linden/Rodriguez

Easy peasy, I should be the GM.
