HAHAHAHA What did I just say about Cano and his over anxious Ab'S with men on base. Either GIDP or a pop up. This time a pop up, against a pitcher than can't throw strikes and when he does its right down the middle and tthis stat padder pops up weakly to the outfield. Nice. Yea lets keep him around he is doing much better this year, (for himself).

This isn't a team, its 25 guys playing baseball for themselves. Anyone that doesn't see that should apply to the Yankees as a coach. The ones they have now have a job with the Yankees and they can't see it either. Total BS is what I see. All led by a manager who wouldn't know how to manage a game if his life was on the line. Cano goes to the plate and with men on base and the guy infront of him getting a walk he swings at the first pitch, and fouls off the second one and is 0 ans 2 before the next batter weas in the on deck circle. Sad.

The Yankees didn't beat one of the best pitchers in baseball, and some of you are surprised??

The Yankees score off of so-so starters from the 5th inning on, and games they have won have mostly been off of weak starters and weak bull pens., Go back and look at who we scored runs off and how we scored.

Look at the solo HRS that we hit, look at Cano's stats and then look and see how he got them, all with no one on base, mostly. Most of his hits never come in a big spot, he has Arod syndrom, lots of stats not much production. He is so anxious with men on base he fails near ever single time, and if the spot is big for a tie or a go ahead run you can count on the GIDP, or weak pop up.

Tex is a joke at this point and needs a Sports shrink. No one that good should play that bad for that long. Sorry, he is a mental midget at this point. He swings at balls and stares at strikes.

All of you that are laying blame on the "kids" did you see us winning more with Posada, Mo, Jeter, Matsui, or Nady in the line up?? Do any of you watch the games and see what these guys are swinging at?? Do you watch Jeter try to get up after diving back to first on a throw over from the pitcher??? He looks like he is 60 years old and has fallen and can't get up.

Did any of you see any sort of situational hitting on this team, any productive outs even?? Any agressive plays from the manager?? Any hit and runs?? Any double steals?? Oh thats right you would actually have to have "in game" skills to do that, and not have every hitter swinging for the fences.

Do we need a refresher course on the amount of times this season alone we have had a man on 3rd and no outs and failed to score???

This team is in shambles. The players are not responding to the manager, or the strength and conditioning regiments they are under,, and diagnosis of injurys are sub par, and we cause most of our own injury problems.

Tex said it best after yet another loss last week. "we found another way to lose". Yep, that about says it.

Needs for this team are many, but at this point be prepared for this season to be a let down as the front office keeps its head in the sand, and the manager and GM spend most of their time blaming injuries, bad luck, and "slow starts" when in reality they are the ones that are responsible for all of it in one way or another.

I still will watch, As I have from 1960. I have seen worse teams for the Yankees, but never worse effort. Well I did from some individual players, but never from the whole oraganization from top to bottom.

Go Yankees.

I have a question. If we dont make the playoffs will they definatley fire Girardi and his staff? How long of a contract did he sign? I cant live with this team not making the playoffs and Girardi coming back.

This team needs an experienced manager of ego's. We need a Leyland, Pinella, Larussa, Torre type guy that's been there before, has a good staff, experience, etc. Yankee players would listen to a guy like this and he would know how to get the best of them. Girardi is perfect for AA guys....not MLB players with $100 million dollar contracts.

Why is Melky being blamed for us not being a winning team? Is he this year’s Arod?

Eiland must go, and if we continue to struggle - everyone does. Except Pena, he's the best.

Yankees are now 5-12 against AL East teams and 2-9 against the teams in that division they really have to beat.

Currently there's question marks about every position except left field, and DH is an issue, too.

Only three of the starters are showing any life, and there's only two viable bull pen options to go to.

The team is looking pretty wheezy 35 games into the campaign.

Some of these issues will work themselves out, yet others will be lingering problems.

6.5 games out at this point is not especially dire, but, the team has to turn it around pretty soon if they want to make a go of it this season.

What we are missing is Torre and no pitcher or fielder or bat can replace him in the fishbowl that is New York. Hank, Cash and Levine are looking like fools while Joe dominates in LA. Karma's a bitch. Joe deserved to close Yankee stadium and he deserved to open the new stadium. He earned that right. I think Girardi is best suited with lower profile teams with few superstar egos. Being a stat-head is only going to get you so far.

*Whatever happens though, there’s no way this team is a winning one with Melky, Gardner, Pena, and Cervelli/Cash all in the same lineup.*

Oh, you mean the same Melky who's .333/.403/.524? Oh, okay. Let's get him out of there.
