I love what’s happening with Cervelli. Pan back to spring training, back to Trenton, scuffling, hitting 190. Click! He’s in Yankee stadium catching CC, CC praises him, Click, it’s a hit and run, he’s batting over 300. And Mr Jeter asks his opinion. He carries a tape recorder for posterity. For the rest of life he can say “So CC said to me”. Only happens in baseball folks.

GB, so Eduardo Nunez like I said has found his rythmn, WDR had a good start tonight, I’m going to check on his velocity through Mike.A

De La Rosa wasn’t sharp with the control and command tonight. It’s to be expected, considering his lack of experience. Yeah, Nunez’ bat is heating up, and even starting to hit for a little extra base power. Still not thrilled with his defense, though. He is still young, so maybe a good infield coach can get him straightened out.
