Thanks for sharing the information about Wang.
It's a comfort that Eiland did notice Wang's release point is too high.
But I really hope they can get Wang's old arm slot back.
Sometimes pitching coach could do the wrong thing, just like what happened to Barry Zito.

Well I for one enjoyed the game. We were outside at a neighbors having some suds and burgers, watching the game. When Tex came up, someone mentioned "Too bad he won't sac to improve the odds of scoring, re NY troubles in scoring. But stars don't sacrifice". We all agreed the worst was a DP and Alex intentional walk And so it came as discussed. But all in all a very good game. From last year the CC boys are on fire. Just Amazing.

Watching Scranton lose 3-0 against PawSox in the 2nd inning as Igawa had a rough 2nd inning.. Austin Jackson though has 2 hits so far.. Raining pretty hard as I watch NESN. Shelly D. was robbed as the CF made a nice catch against the wall. Shelly Duncan just crushed a 2run shot. 4-2 now with 2 outs in the 3rd.. 4 HR in 4 games for Duncan!

"Sox already made their statement. They beat us 5 times.

What statement have we made?"

yet they are only 1 game ahead of us.

Good point about the Jeter/Damon not running on the 3-2 pitch to Teixiera. Besides that I would have tried a double steal to avoid the DP. and it's takes the shift away if they made it.

Betsy-That is true. Sox aren't exactly going through a rosy time right now.

I think this is a far different team than last year - more overall talent, more together and more confident. What happened last year after their 8 game winning streak was pathetic......and I have no clue what the deal was. All the Yankees can do is take one game at a time......and win series. They are undoubtedly not worried about losing this game and going into a slide, so why should we? One game at a time.......and they are preciseley 1 game back - not a bad spot to be in.

Disappointed that the Yanks lost today, but I certainly would have signed up for an 8-2 homestand.

An odd thing happened. I checked the calendar and to my surprise, I dicovered that June, July, and August come before September.
This allows the Yankees some time to make up for any deficiency that has occured during April and May.
