Now let's get real. A-Rod has tanked and always has tanked when it comes to "clutch hitting".. He is at this time batting 224..risp..about the same. Please remember he is paid 25 million...Those stats would get a rookie sent back down. Speaking of back down, why hasn't Girardi dropped him and put Cano behind Tex???. A-Rod is killing this team. He seems to relish taking walks when he should be aggressive at the plate. His job is to "hit"...which he isn't doing and probably won't for the rest of the season...Remember he can't use steroids anymore and that's steroid use is what got him that high salary...undeservedly.
