Pete are your serious? I know the newspaper industry isn’t doing to well right now. But you have one of the most popular sports blogs on the internet. You have to be bringing in a fair amount of money with advertising. That really sucks.

Seriously, who else is going to give that paper the number of blog hits you do? I love Sam Borden, really do. Love his style. But you are the hunter-gatherer, my brother. You go out and get it daily, 24/7, and bring it here for us with insight and professional perspective, if also with the occasional outburst of Oscar Madison (j/k).

I was happy to read Sam and the other pros who filled in, but I, like everybody else here, kept reading because this is your place and we were waiting for you to come back.

They are going to have a bunch of p.o.’d natives on their hands they do anything rash to Pete Abe. Why, it’d be like Cheers without Sam Malone. (Wait…he was with the Red Sox…)
