“Whiners need something to whine about.”

I would like to propose banning use of the word “whine” on this blog. The reason, it’s an endless loop and it hurts my head.

Complaining = whining.

Complaining about whining = whining about the whiners.

Pretty soon, someone will whine about my whining about the whiners whining about the whining.

Stop the madness.

OPPC = Official Positive Posters Club.

It was a tongue-in-cheek group formed to combat all the bridge jumpers, negative nellies, the sky is falling chicken littles, and trolls who inhabit the game threads.

Of course, negative nellies hate the OPPC. When the Yanks fall behind 2-0 in the 2nd inning, no one wants to hear someone calmly say “This game is far from over”.

Their constant whining about the OPPC is one good reason why it will never go away. Whiners need something to whine about.

I was going to ask him what he thinks about all this OPPC nonsense (but I was pretty sure he wouldn’t touch that with a 10-foot pole).

It just doesn’t make much sense to spend so much time discussing what the Debbie Downers have to say. Half the blog is spent on this ridiculous back-and-forth.
