Wrong, Pete. They let you in at 4:30, but only in the outfield. Did watch BP for both clubs. At 6 they let you go to your seat, but wouldn’t let you down by the dugouts. They shoo-ed you off past first base. Very unfriendly, I agree.

Joba’s diving catch was awesome.

i thought the yankees changed the rules and now let fans down by the field during BP?

Maybe it is because it is a smaller fan base and it would cost the team more money to open the stadium earlier then the money it actually makes in that time span. I would think money has alot to do with it. Maybe Indian fans don’t care about batting prcice or there team to arrive that early to the game.

Higashioka played for the GCL yanks last year, only 18 games. He hasn’t been assigned to a team yet this season. Either injured or in extended spring training.

Jesus Montero turned 19 this past November.

Right now in high-A ball he is hitting .355/.404/.593 with 8 HR, 15 doubles, 36 RBI in 46 games.
