No Yankee baseball news so I just re-read this interview. Surreal that the Yankees actually won the championship and rode CC all the way. Such an important factor in #27. Here is to another championship in 2010!

Great interview. You should to talk to Nick Swisher’s publicist, Kathy Jacobson, to try and get him in. That would be a hillarious interview. Also perhaps Kevin Long, I’d love to hear what he did with Robby and Leche this winter.

I agree the next interview should be with Tex. He appears to be a great guy and is also a great 1st baseman. I love it when he is up to bat – almost a sure hit. He has such great power.

CC will be around for his entire contract years. It would help if he and the other Yankees won a WS ring this year. The addition of CC, AJ and Tex was the best ever.

Thanks Pete. I’d really like to see Mark Texeira do the next Q and A. He seems like a really good guy and I bet he’d be really receptive to doing something like that. Plus he could say how he likes New York and all that. Thanks!

I found this to be a revealing comment:
“I’m going be here this whole offseason. I’m going to be living up here the next seven years so I’m going to be very active in the community as far as getting kids in the inner city back playing baseball.”
I hope he does stick around for the full contract and doesn’t pull a Burnett. He has the opt out claus, gues we will see.
