Quit hoping for JB Cox and Horne... ain't happening.

Wasn't 2005 the last draft for the Tampa Mafia? Austin Jackson and Brett Gardner is all they'll have to show for it.

Of course last year's draft isn't looking all that good, but it's still early. Drafting Bittle was an incredibly bad move with him being a one pitch guy (slider) and arm problems. He returned to school and had to be shut down before the year was done.

Brandon, I think it hurts the Yankees less than other teams to have first round picks that flop, though, because they can take more money-based reaches in later rounds (like, guys who are commited to colleges but might sign for more money than they were expecting). The first round picks have been a lot better since 2005, even though Cole's pick was a disaster he was a good value talent-wise.

Mike Francessa revealing his intimate knowledge of the relationships of Yankee players…after all, he would know that “Posada doesn’t like Girardi”...so much evidence, after all…

Let a Red Sox player win the MVP.
Who cares?

I want to see the Yankees win the WS!
That is all these players should be playing for...

Win tonight and take 2 out of 3 in Boston. Then start putting some distance on the rest of the AL East...

Go Yankees!

For the ones that are bothered by Swishers play, remember who the Yankees traded for him. I think Swisher has his limitations but he is much better for this club than Betimitte(sp).
