"Way too much cap-tippin’ and “We’ll get ‘em tomorrow” on this team lately."

A -- FRICKING -- MEN!!!!! That's the worst trait of this team....someone needs to go 'Lou Pinella' in the clubhouse. It's called EMOTION. Someone wrote yesterday --'you guys treat every game like its game 7!! Ummm -- yes -- that's how EVERY game is SUPPOSSED to be played. Instead -- we get the 'Long season HO HUM treatment'.

Must make a point: Joba was pitching againts a pretty good hitting team. The Nats are the worst because they have awful pitching (esp, in the pen), awful defense, and are about the slowest teams in history.

"Save your rage for Joba. He far more deserving."

I'd prefer people to settle down as Joba and Wang will get their chance to pitch themselves out of the rotation.

However, if you want to save your rage for anyone, save your rage for Wang. He's been the worst of the rotation and all I see is a bunch of people making excuses for him by pointing fingers in other directions, including Joba's (who pitched better against the Nats, has an under 4 ERA, more innings and better...well everything)

Wang pitched worse than Joba and the ultimate result was that they both lost.

I fail to see why Joba gets the needles, while Wang has gotten the praise.

Granted, Joba's attitude towards Posada was worrisome, but that has nothing to do with whether Joba or Wang pitched well.

That's not to say that Wang should be pulled from the rotation. But i you're saying Joba pitched poorly against the Nationals, then Wang should go to the bullpen.

*You can talk Trash about the NATS,BUT THEY LEAVE HERE WITH* *three things.*
*BRAGGING RIGHTS,and WON 2/3 AGAINST THE NY YANKEES*.

*They beat them with rookie pitchers.*

*They did in Yankee stadium.*

Yankees fans stop sweeping the loses under the rug,as no big deal. HOW BLIND OF YOU TO DO SO.

Boy even *the worst lose still keeps people locked in*
*excuse mode.* Joe had better find away for the batters and
the pitcher's to strike at the same time.

CC give up 3 or more runs and wins or loses base off run support. *If Joba had any run support he would've won* the game.He held them to 3 runs.

The last thing *making up excuses will do,is put you in a* *false state* as to how the Yankees are falling short early IN THE SEASON.THE SECOND HALF IS MORE INTENSE and will not get easy.

Unless the pitching and hitting turns around,3rd place or lower is the outcome.

*The team has just quit all at the same time, that's* *coaching* .

*Waiting for the another team to lose,in order to keep a* *ranking is foul.*

As long as the *players aren't held accountable* for what
they were hired in for,and KNOW THE *OWNERSHIP will open* the *wallet,(like any bad parent that just keeps buying* *their kids OUT OF TROUBLE)* the players need a firm handed older mgr that holds them to the fire for non contributions,PERIOD.

The *Yankees are spoiled and need a quick kick in* the *butt* ,for their play. *Arod is a drain to watch.*Yet the *Yankees owners and, fans keep waiting for a miracle from* *him to come to life, he's an over blown juiced up (stats)* *player* .He's not performing because he needs the PED'S,that he can't use.we're *STUCK WITH HIM!*

*AS A FAN,BEING THE LAUGHINGSTOCK OF BASEBALL,is PAIN FULL.*

This was the Nats World Series. It was also their players auditioning for the Yankees, in hopes of a trade.

i agree with those who say that risking all our players just to play the stupid nationals today was absolutely dumb. who cares if we get three games in against hte nats?? seriously.

also, i really don't see why it's so embarrassing or ominous that we lost 2 of 3 to the nats. yeah, ok, i understand if your a fan and you go the game and you're disapointed and frustrated. but i don't understand being a professional sports writer and passing this type of nonsense off as an objective opinion.

the team has the right attitude. that makes me optimistic. pete does not however have the attituted of a professional when they lose.

Put Joba back to the pen where he belongs. This experiment has gone on too long, and now it's impacting Hughes, and Wang.
