Well, complete certainty. You can’t ask for much more than that. As your his slump, maybe it’s October on the Kabbalah calendar. Somebody needs to check that out.

Hughes is being held back in case he’s needed on Friday. … Girardi said he would consider changing the lineup. … Yankees 5-8 against the NL and 15-16 in interleague games under Girardi. … Cody Ransom on his way from Scranton. No word yet on the corresponding move.
