AAA All-Star Game voting ends Friday

Posted by: Peter Abraham - Posted in Misc on Jun 23, 2009 Print This Post Print This Post | Email This Post Email This Post

I post this only to save lives.

The voting for the Triple-A All-Star Game ends Friday at 11:59 p.m. If Shelley Duncan does not get voted in, he could go on a rampage that would take the country and the particularly the state of Pennsylvania years to recover from.

Fan votes count for 33 percent of the decision, so you can make a difference.

Go to swbyankees.com or minorleaguebaseball.com to vote. You can vote up to 25 times. Imagine all the time you would waste.

Seriously, Shelley and Austin Jackson deserve to go. John Rodriguez, Chris Stewart, Juan Miranda and Mark Melancon also are doing well in the voting. Plus if Kei Igawa gets in, Brian Cashman will make a funny face when we ask him about it.

So click those links.

If you’re in Tampa tonight, Phillies closer Brad Lidge is scheduled to make a rehab appearance tonight at Steinbrenner Field against the Single-A club.

    from last thread…

But it’s already been made a bigger deal than it is…CC more than likely was just thinking out loud about possible causes for the soreness.

Either that or he had to come up with some answer quickly to avoid the truth…as the great Meat Loaf said in Something About Mary…”he was masterb*ting!!”

    RIP Ed McMahon.

    COL 88

A lot of the players mispronounce his name. I think it is just a case of busting. No one says Wangs name correctly.

If elected, he’ll surely get to play in it. No chance he ever gets called back up to the Yanks. Not like we could use a right handed bat off the bench, especially during interleague.

I think everyone is beaten down and the spirits won’t lift (or get further outraged) until 7 tonight.

I was on a plane to SF with Will.i.Am.

I had a rhyme for him but chickened out.

Hockey HOF announcements in a few minutes. Brian Leetch is a lock. Did that guy ever get winded?

sabathia has been the glue for this team so far with his innings and quality of innings. he’s saved the bullpen almost every start..

no one pitcher can carry a whole team. maybe sabathia is just pointing out there’s a limit to what he can do , and the yankees had better get him some bullpen help.

if sabathia misses another start, this team is officially in disarray.
just a feeling, but i’m thinking the yankees are going to have a hard time playing .500 ball the next ten games.

The ’78 Yankees were a team that was officially in disarray. This is nothing!
