I seriously think you’re consumed with this Posada/Cervelli thing – when there is no debate.

Who do you seem to take glee in Posada when he slumps? He’s in a temporary offensive slump that seemingly every starter has been wrapped up in during this season.

Who has said they don’t like Cervelli? He’s doing a admirable job, especially for a kid who started at Double AA this year. That being said, he’s going back down to the minors when Molina comes back. And that’s a good thing, so he can get regular playing time to improve his offense.

The St. Petersburg Times reported Saturday that a St. Petersburg police dispatcher confirmed a report for battery was taken at Tropicana Field at about 11 p.m. ET on Thursday. The Phillies had just finished playing the Rays and were headed to Toronto for this weekend’s series against the Blue Jays.

The Times reported the player involved in the altercation was reliever J.C. Romero.

According to the Times, Rays fan Robert Eaton, a 25-year-old father of two, said Romero grabbed him by the neck and pushed Eaton after he made a comment about steroids.

Mike Lowell could not walk to his car after games last season. He literally inched his way, with help, around the clubhouse at times.

His condition was far, far worse than Alex’s. In addition, he’s a little older and not quite in the physical condition that Alex is in. It’s not crazy to think that Lowell would not heal as well and as quickly.

Still, as Pete said, it makes sense to give him his occasional rest.

Don’t worry, it’s been replaced by gratuitous shots at Cervelli since he seems to be doing well and Pete’s pet Posada not quite as well.

I didn’t really hear any shots at Cervelli and I like both angel eyes and Posada.
I do think what Pete said-similar to the backup QB lovin is going on right now with regards to him. But that’s just me.

Seth seemed to blind side Pete with that Twitter comment. He did make some nice plugs for the blog though. Good chat on the radio, just happened to be in my car when it came on Pete you should figure out a way to get sound bites of your appearances like you do for player interviews.
