Just because Michael Kay’s Wiki page no longer says he lives with Ms. Jones, people jump to crazy conclusions!

Great job on the FAN today Pete, really enjoyed the interview. I also agree that Kim would be great if she had a regular show, but I think she would be dominated by Mike F’s overwhelming ego. He would put a clinic on everyday on how to be condescending if she joined the show.

The Yankees (and most other teams) absolutely abide by the 30 inning rule. So I’m not sure what some of you are talking about.

On Alex and being the DH… no, it’s not the same as a day off, but he just had Monday off. I think he should have one day a week completely off and another day when he only DHs.

On Cervelli the only way he stays is if the Yankees move Molina once he’s healthy. You don’t carry three catchers unless two of them can really hit and at least one can play other positions… that does not apply to this situation.

“I think in the last two months or so Cervelli has more than proven he can carry the back-up role. He kind of carried the team from behind the batters box when Posada and Molina both hit the DL at the same time.”

I’ve seen too much baseball in the last 50 years to believe what 60 something at-bats cloud my judgement especially considering how few at-bats Cervelli had in the minors. He’s been in the Yankee minors since 2005 and has about 700 at-bats. Not enough at-bats in my opinion.
