Sounds great Bret. How did it taste? I like the cayenne.

Food television is a terrific resource.

---

It tasted fantastic. I saved some for later which is now, now. Next time around, I will use whole milk (and less of it) instead of 1% and basil leaves from my garden. I will also use fresh garlic cloves instead of from the jar. The jar garlic is saturated with flavor and short on texture. A couple small tweaks and I'm golden.

Another one of my recent recipes is green beans sauteed in olive oil with cashews, almonds, dried cranberries, basil leaves from my garden, sea salt and a dash of lemon juice.

Or how about a Mexican BLT? Smoked turkey with bacon, lettuce, chunky salsa instead of plain tomato and guacamole instead of mayo.

Hmm, Oakland hangs on to the TB-bullpen blown lead, Yankees win tomorrow, Tampa Bay loses, and suddenly the Yankees, doomed and all, are 4.5 up on them entering the all-star break, a nice comfortable lead on a team that, according to the chicken littles here, the Yankees have no chance of beating.

It's disappointing the way the fanbase has switched souls with Boston's the last 5 years. What ever happened to perspective?

I just can't see Toronto trading Halladay to a team in their division. Their GM probably could not live down that Burnett and Halladay are with the Yankees. Also, Halladay has a no trade clause so he will have to approve the move as well. I know its hard to believe, but not everyone wants to play for the Yankees and all the crap that goes with it.

Tampa blows the lead. A's 4-2. Hope that Oakland's bullpen can hold it.

The wrong pitcher was sent down. Albaladejo did nothing wrong when he was called up and he pounds the strike zone.
Cashman / Girardi will have a few days to sort it all out.
A week ago the bullpen seemed on track.
