I see that this post is dated July 13th. Well…I just heard “HINSKE WITH YOUR BEST SHOT!” call from John Sterling. And I gotta say-this is the dumbest call I have ever heard.

My biggest gripe against Sterling is when he calls foul balls. You don’t know when he says “that ball is popped up……… and it’s in the stands!” for about 20 seconds if it’s fair or in the stands!!!

How about no home run call? I think Sterling should concentrate on calling an accurate game. He is the absolute worst — I can’t even listen to him. You never know the score, the inning, who’s up at bat. How could we spend so much money on a team and have a broadcaster that belongs in AA Nebraska?

How exactly was I “owned” by Rebecca? I thank you, Rebecca, for doing the research but all this proves is I was correct.. With the exception of Andy, our other top 3 pitchers have better stats with someone other than Posada catching.

But I didnt need stats to tell me this since I’ve seen every game. Sorry, someone had to tell it like it is. Posada should NOT be an everyday catcher. Period. Bottom line. End of subject. It doesn’t matter to me what he has done in the past or that he is a true Yankee. I think we can all agree, we just want to WIN! We need Posada’s bat in the lineup this year, but next year we need a change. You see what having a good, mobile 1st baseball has done for our infield this year.. Just imagine what a good catcher, who could actually catch and throw runners out, would do for our pitching staff.

“Hammering Hinske *nailed* one over the wall…”…this may have been used? I didn’t read prior to posting it, but it was the first thing that popped in my head.
