terrible show, only thing worth watching on that channel is the Dave Ramsey show. Alexis Glick is nice to look and listen too as well.

We SHOULD dominate this kid today. But since we have a tendency to let first time pitchers shut us down, I wouldnt be surprised if we lose.

Mike RI,

I read yesterday that the Jays are asking that whoever takes Halladay also takes Vernon Wells and his $100 million remaining his contract through 2014.

I’ve read that Joba or Hughes would likely be in any deal.

IF..IF (emphasized) we took on Wells’ contract, the Jays would have to take back one of our OFs and not obtain a top tier prospect. If they weren’t okay with that, then screw the deal. That is not worth it.

I am not ready to throw in the towel on Joba by any means…he’s a youngster and he is learning. I think we’ll see the real starting pitcher we hoped for towards the middle of 2010.

SOmeone brought this up yesterday and took a look at it today and I also know that it is so not a burning issue in the middle of the season but it looks like finally the Yankees will have some 40 man roster flexibility next year.

I counted at least 10 people that will/could come off the 40 man at the end of the season and with the youngsters that the team has coming up that space will prove valuable.
