I am so happy that the Sox's have problems. The list should be exposed and all the name shown. Take that Red Sox nation.

I had a little fun writing on my blog today about David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, the 2004 ALCS, and Red Sox Nation.

Yankee fans that questioned the Mitchell Report were put down as nothing more then conspiracy nuts. But, it's pretty obvious that Bud Selig and the Lords of Baseball did not want anyone knowing that Alex Rodriguez, Manny Ramirez, David Ortiz, etc. were on the juice.

Which brings the same arguement I have made since the beginning. The players are the ones being scapegoated here. MLB not only knew about steroid use, but openly supported the players doing them. Selig fought to prevent testing and it was only when Congress threatened to remove the anti-trust law, did he relent.

MLB created an atmosphere that told players that if you want to be rich and famous, you need to take steroids.

This is something that also dates back to the sixties. Sen. Henry Waxman reported in 1973 that steroid use was rampant. And, Hank Aaron's size and home run record increased to career highs.

But, the truth isn't something everyone is interested in.

Just as we turn a blind eye to professional basketball players that are bigger then pro-wrestlers. The NFL has players that make Hulk Hogan seem small in comparison and we ignore the DEATH RATE the NFL has. Hollywood actors and music artists are all on the juice. And, look at all the professional wrestlers that have died under the age of 45.

Let's stop pretending that we really care about steroids.

Just think of what Mo’s post season numbers would be like minus the spanking he took from Ortiz in 04 ALCS.

------

What "spanking"? All I remember is one, maybe 2 sac flies Ortiz managed off Rivera.

God Im glad someone with a public forum brought up the absolute mockery that was the Mitchell Report. That was so disgustingly biased, to this day I can not believe Major League Baseball allowed that one way SOB to write what was considered the "beginning and end all" report of all things steroids in baseball. What a joke that was.
