1) Washburn is worth Austin Romine and Jeremy Bleich. Joba and Phil are already better than Washburn and Cashman would be insane to give up either of those guys for anyone right now.

2) The best thing about the Doobie Brothers is that they named themselves after a drug. Gotta love it.

Is Washburn really worth a Joba or a Phil?

for another 2-3 years I suppose.

But Joba and/or Phil are finally coming to their own, and we have a solid rotation with CC/AJ for the next 5 years.

CC/AJ/Phil/Joba....FOR 5 YEARS. Think about that!

Jeff Skunk Baxter is pictured. I met him in the 70's at the Playboy club in NJ. This was before he got religion.
He was quite wasted the day I met him but a funny guy.

Cal kind of makes sense, considering his record.

I really really hope it's not him though, he's one of my favorite players of all time.

It's on CNNSI today. If it were Cal baseball would be crippled. I could definitely see Rickey. I am not sure if Rickey was on Toronto when Canseco was as well. Just couldn't think of anyone else off the top of my head recently that would make sense that Canseco would know.

"He could hit and field and run and throw, unfortunately KC beat Cashman to him."

He can field and run and throw, he can't hit.

There are hundreds of players in baseball that can do what Anderson can do.
