And also when Beckett and Lester is on no team is going to score much on those two pitchers. The same can be said for Sabathia and Burnett. Good pitching always wins. Are you serious ? I don't see how today's win can be classified as "ugly." Seattle gave us an extra out that led to 4 unearned runs, but the actual way the runs were scored was legit. Single, sac fly, homerun. There was also clutch pitching (Robertson), solid defense (Tex, Molina), and a nice insurance run by Jeter in the 9th. Sounds like good baseball to me.
