Agree with Jeremy - this team is ready. The losses were before ASG. Since then this team has come together, everyone contributes. Play offs and WS coming up and the team is ready and willing to win it all.

Are you serious ? You are still think this team can't beat quality teams. Come on ! They beat a Red Sox lineup with V-Mart, and Jason Bay played in the last game of the series. I guess the Red Sox aren't ready since they can't win a series against the Rangers, Rays, Mariners, A's, Angels. You know how stupid some of you sound. This team is ready. And also when Beckett and Lester is on no team is going to score much on those two pitchers. The same can be said for Sabathia and Burnett. Good pitching always wins.

The one thing we have not done yet is hit Beckett or Lester. If we can smack them around - or at least put a few runs up against each of them - that's the last regular season hill we have to climb.

As well as the Yanks are playing now I am still not confident that we can beat playoff caliber teams in a big spot (all though the last Red Sox series certainly helped). I think if we can take another series from the Sox with Jason Bay in the lineup, and play the Angels without them kicking the crap out of us, I will feel a lot better.

The blown saves in 2004,is reminder enough for Mo.He won't let that happen again. He didn't like giving up the run the other night.

Yankees/fans are fortunate to have him this effective this long.Tonight was save #35 for an almost 40 yr old in great physical shape.

If we're talking about ugly wins, the Castillo popup takes the cake.

I don't see how today's win can be classified as "ugly." Seattle gave us an extra out that led to 4 unearned runs, but the actual way the runs were scored was legit. Single, sac fly, homerun. There was also clutch pitching (Robertson), solid defense (Tex, Molina), and a nice insurance run by Jeter in the 9th. Sounds like good baseball to me.

So who's looking forward to Mitre's next start ?

The guy doesn't pitch well enough for anyone to like him and he doesn't pitch bad enough to get knocked out of the rotation.

He's like a day old slice of pizza.

I just need him to get one more out before giving up a run.

“Dude that trade terrible.”

Tabata’s with the Pirates, right? Don’t worry, we can get him back later.

I am hoping Mo can blow a save sometime soon. It is better now than in playoff.
