As I wrote on my blog (http://www.noyoureatowel.net/2…..kevin.html) it sucks that they moved the Yanks/Sox game back…right into Yom Kippur!

I guess this means Kate Hudson won’t be at that game. I don’t know if she’s an observant Jew or not, though.

As a Jewish yankee fan, I am extremely upset by this. This game could possibly wind up being one of the most important games of the season. I was very much looking forward to it, and was extremely thankful that it was an afternoon game. Instead, I will be unable to watch the game, which adds to the difficulty of my day, because I will be fasting. It’s like ESPN doesn’t even care about fans. And what about Kevin Youkillis? Will he be playing? It’s not even fair to the players.

I think the obvious is that it was against Baltimore. Don’t get too juiced up on last night’s performance. He’s a #5 on any other team contending…..just stating the obvious!

CC is a tired #2, AJ is a #4 and Andy and Joba are #5′s. That’s not going to cut it in ALCS!

Pete, I’m so glad you mentioned that Angels game last week–I scored a sweet sweet ticket pretty cheap same day you first mentioned it. I think that game has the potential of being really interesting considering how the playoffs are shaking out. People should be comin’ out for that one!!

FYI–I bet that Red Sox game on Saturday 9/26 is going to be a 4 p.m. game for FOX….

I’m getting very nervous about the Twins. I do not want the Twins in the ALDS! I’m sick and tired of the Yankees being ousted in the 1st round against teams they’ve swept in the regular season.

I already can see the foolish Yankee fans drooling about the opportunity to play Minnesota in the 1st round.

Those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it!

The last few times yanks made it out of the first round was courtesy the twins.. The Yanks seem to have Twins number just like the Angels have the yanks number.. Plus the Twins pitching and hitting doesn’t scare you like Tigers.. I would take an ALDS match-up with the Twins 100 times out of 100..
