Double-A Trenton is facing New Britain at 1:35 p.m. today. The Thunder need wins today and tomorrow — the final two days of the season — to clinch an Eastern League playoff berth. RHP Jason Stephens (1-1, 2.45) starts today.

Mike Ashmore hit the road with the Thunder and he has relentless updates over on his blog, Thunder Thoughts. Mike has the lineups, photos and even video. So check that out if you’re interested in the kids.

The Yankees have Scranton, Tampa and Staten Island in their respective postseasons. Maybe Trenton can join in. It’s certainly an exciting time for the organization.

You’re forgetting the Yankees. I think we have a 99.9% chance of making the playofs or something.

The GCL Yankees also made their postseason but were bounced in the semis. If Trenton makes it in, Charleston is the only affiliate not to make it.
