Nasty weather in the Boogie Down

My laptop screen is shaking as I write this, that’s how windy it is at Yankee Stadium at the moment. It’s also pouring.

I would not show up early for batting practice as there is little chance of that happening. And monitor this blog for updates on the game.

Hey, the Iron Horse played 2,130 consecutive games. Did you think he was going to give up another record so easily?

So a day/night double header would be Saturday? I’m driving to NYC tomorrow and going to my first game at NYS Sunday. Can’t wait.

I have tickets tonight…I’m under the 3rd deck in right field so it won’t be bad for me but I hope and pray the game gets in.

I knew buying a new Jeter jersey this afternoon was a jinx.

Jeter shouldn’t have to break a record in a rain-delayed game at a half-empty stadium anyways!

  10. GGBG (Magic Number: 14) September 11th, 2009 at 2:56 pm

    Sara

I did know it was 14 but forgot to update my Name LOL!

The idea of baseball on November 5th…unbelievable…

I guess it should make me happy. The longer it goes the less time I have to be without it before next season!

Jeter would prefer it that way. A win’s a win

I love that Jeter just tied Gehrig’s record, and that they get to share it for a few days. I hope he appreciates that. If he had just blasted through it Wednesday, we would be done talking about it. Now we get to talk more about the Iron Horse, who deserves another day in the sun (pun intended).

I got tickets Wednesday night for my family so wecould see Jeter break the record. Normaly I leave about 3 hours prior to game time as I live in North Western NJ to make sure I get there in time and get parking. Is there any way to find out about game status on the phone while driving in?
