As of noon today, this blog had 999,306 approved comments since Jan. 17, 2007 when we installed the new software that counts the comments.

Whoever checks in at 1,000,000 today will get the following fabulous prize mailed to them:

• A Yankees soup cup given away at the Stadium last week.

• Yankees luggage tags given away the Stadium over the weekend.

• Marty Appel’s terrific book Munson: The Life and Death of a Yankee Captain.

• A Yankees ski cap.

• A Hope Week baseball cap courtesy of Jason Zillo, The players all have these and they are a limited edition.

• A LoHud Yankees Blog t-shirt from our 2008 outing that I just found in my car.

That’s a lot of stuff. So make your comments good ones, they could earn a prize.

  2. Rishi September 14th, 2009 at 12:04 pm

Great prizes! Guess I’ll have to hang around all day.

  6. Fan of the Melk Man September 14th, 2009 at 12:05 pm

Does anyone know when the individual post-season tickets will go on sale? I am assuming it is when the Yankees clinch but I am not positive. Does anyone else have any idea???

    Thanks!

  7. travis September 14th, 2009 at 12:06 pm

just wanted you to know this is the greatest blog ever and its always dialed up on my phone and my work computer….

  8. John September 14th, 2009 at 12:06 pm

Thank you for not including the hand sanitizer that they gave out on Monday. I feel it to be the worst Major League Baseball giveaway of all time, but I could be wrong on that.

  9. Matt September 14th, 2009 at 12:06 pm

    Nice Prizes….

  10. Matt September 14th, 2009 at 12:06 pm

Hot stuff! (In the case of the soup can, literally)

  11. mg September 14th, 2009 at 12:07 pm

    nice prizes

  12. timbo September 14th, 2009 at 12:07 pm

    i hope i win.

  13. jennifer September 14th, 2009 at 12:08 pm

Wow that is a nice list of prices. I hope it is someone who is a regular, and not a troll. Pete you can disqualify them we won’t tell. :D

  14. David Astoria September 14th, 2009 at 12:08 pm

that is amazing that we are coming up to the 1,000,000th comment

  15. saucY September 14th, 2009 at 12:09 pm

why does it look like we’re already at comment # 1,031,340?

do the deleted comments and comments that get stuck in the filter not count? ;)

  16. MaineYankee September 14th, 2009 at 12:09 pm

    Erica

    You notice there’s no snoopy?

  17. Jeter's Edge - Pete, we need registered names and an edit button! September 14th, 2009 at 12:09 pm

Wow that’s amazing! I just hope the winning post isn’t something like:

“Pete, why do you hat A-rod?”

    or,

“What was Girardi thinking with that line-up”

    or even worse,

“Boy i hoe we don’t choke like the Mets did last year!”

News Flash people, we are NOT the NY MESS!

Didn’t that whole 1,000,000th comment thing already happen?
    —————
That’s what I thought too – I guess based on the “comment-…” tags it’s past 1 million, but not since the Jan 17th counter started

  19. Curt Schilling for Nongress September 14th, 2009 at 12:11 pm

Ill be back when there are 999,980. Still over 600 to go !

  20. Irabu's Son September 14th, 2009 at 12:11 pm

I predicted Chien-Ming Wang would lead the staff in wins this year.. what does that get me (besides a dunce cap?)

  21. My 2 Front Teeth September 14th, 2009 at 12:11 pm

All I want is a Championship, but after losing 2 out of 3 to the lowly Oreos and Beckett, Bucholtz and Lester looking play-off ready…..I’m not too sure it’s going to happen this year for the Yanks.

They’re getting pooped out and running out of steam.

  22. Irabu's Son September 14th, 2009 at 12:12 pm

how many comments does the Mets blog have?

  23. antisocial scrooge September 14th, 2009 at 12:12 pm

I bet #1 million will come in the game thread.

  24. S.A.--Is it October yet? September 14th, 2009 at 12:13 pm

    Prizes are fun.

  25. Steve September 14th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

Best of luck everyone! Great prize pack.

  26. CMNJ September 14th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

Well, I guess it would give me an excuse to finally buy some luggage and go skiing.

  27. BG#11 September 14th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

Those prizes sound great. Especially the soup cup because I was at that game and they ran out of the promotion early so those soup cups became more valuable than gold. A security guy had to escort the last box out of a mob of people to the main gate. After the game people were scouring the seats like vultures for a chance to find a forgotten and left behind soup cup, it was ridiculous.

Commenters should be coming out of the woodwork today.

  28. mg September 14th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

OT – think girardi is approaching tonight as a must win to widen the gap for home field?

  29. William Buckner September 14th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

I bet the 1 millionth will be something critical about tonights lineup.

  30. tom A September 14th, 2009 at 12:16 pm

    Nice job – thanks!!

  31. islesfan September 14th, 2009 at 12:17 pm

With Joba starting tonight, the 1,000,000th post will definitely be critical of the Yankees handling of Joba and how he should be a reliever. Pete will love it.

  32. leah September 14th, 2009 at 12:17 pm

tricky! too bad we can’t see the counter. :)

  33. idlenyy September 14th, 2009 at 12:18 pm

Would it be wrong of me to just post random thoughts over and over until I win?

  34. Will to the M September 14th, 2009 at 12:18 pm

    there goes my afternoon….
    refresh

  35. John September 14th, 2009 at 12:18 pm

    wow, thats cool

  36. Nice Guy September 14th, 2009 at 12:18 pm

I’m more interested in when Jeter will collect his one millionth hit…

  37. John September 14th, 2009 at 12:19 pm

why would anyone want a coup cup that probably was 10 cents to make?

  38. Marc September 14th, 2009 at 12:19 pm

Pete, You are the man. My day doesn’t go well if I can’t start off on your blog. Keep up the fantastic work and lets see #27 in ’09!!

  39. Nice Guy September 14th, 2009 at 12:19 pm

What does the 1,000,001st commenter get?

  40. Andrew GTLU Bronze Medalist September 14th, 2009 at 12:20 pm

I really hope the millionth comment is a lineup complaint. “UGH why are you playing Hinske Joe, don’t you know this a must-win game?!?!”…That would be perfect.

  41. Nice Guy September 14th, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Too bad there’s no way to block the comments with a filobuster.

  42. Phil September 14th, 2009 at 12:20 pm

    Good stuff, Pete.

  43. Loren Crispell September 14th, 2009 at 12:21 pm

Anyone know what the Yanks magic number is to clinch a playoff spot? I’m thinking it’s got to be around 8 or 9…?

  44. NYY626 September 14th, 2009 at 12:21 pm

I hope the comment is not a Joba bash. For some reason, I have faith in him come playoff time. I feel like he’s going to get pumped up and go all Clemens-like on the opposition ( maybe someone should supply him with some iceyhot…)

  45. Nick in SF in San Mateo September 14th, 2009 at 12:22 pm

The Mets blog is also giving away a prize… whoever makes the first comment gets an autographed copy of “Portrait of Gary Carter as a Young Expo”.

  46. rick September 14th, 2009 at 12:22 pm

I would love to win the prize I read this blog everyday, Pete and the readers do a great job…thanks Rick

  47. tony September 14th, 2009 at 12:22 pm

The Munson book was a great read!

  48. brian September 14th, 2009 at 12:23 pm

    I hope I win

  49. Chad D September 14th, 2009 at 12:23 pm

Even without the contest, this is a great blog!

  50. Todd September 14th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

No Yankee brick in the give-away package???????? No stadium dirt either???

  51. Barrows September 14th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

Good luck to everyone and awesome idea by Pete.

  52. Mac September 14th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

Are international readers (like me) qualified? =)

  53. Stu Sho September 14th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

    1,000,000 prize

  54. Hensley Muellens Blast Pal September 14th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

    is the shirt pete worn?

  55. vthighlanders September 14th, 2009 at 12:26 pm

Of course no bricks, those things are not cheap!

  56. rick September 14th, 2009 at 12:26 pm

    i love the yankees

  57. betsy September 14th, 2009 at 12:26 pm

RMEL, from a previous thread………..we disagree on this. IMO, there is nothing to wait and see about. Phil is a starter and that’s where his future lies. I expect him to be an exceptional starter……….not necessarily next year, but in a few years…and he will be one for a long time.

  58. vthighlanders September 14th, 2009 at 12:27 pm

Amazing Scranton can do so well given how many of their key pieces got called up. Shows some actual depth in the system.

  59. Jeter's Edge - Pete, we need registered names and an edit button! September 14th, 2009 at 12:27 pm

Here is a good question, what if Pete is the 1,000,000 post?!! I guess he just keeps all the stuff LOL

I seriously wonder what counts as a post and what doesn’t. I mean think about it. Some people double and triple post all the time because the submit button gets stuck but i’m sure all of those will count. And what about deleted posts. They must have counted at some point. Or troll posts or posts just bashing Pete because people can’t take a joke. None of that junk should count either.

Then, on the other hand, you have guys like CB and SJ who probably contribute the most insightful information to this blog but write novels in a single post so they have a lot less posts then others. My advice to them, split up those posts at least for today!

  60. iiicollies September 14th, 2009 at 12:27 pm

watch everyone wait until 11:59 and then there’ll 200 posts in 20 seconds

  61. The Captain September 14th, 2009 at 12:27 pm

Pete – nice of you to take care of your loyal readers. Good Luck everyone!

  62. Thomas A. Anderson September 14th, 2009 at 12:27 pm

Well, according to the source code of the web site, we are well over a million plus comments. But, ah well, someone is gonna come away with fabulous prize.

  63. Brad September 14th, 2009 at 12:28 pm

I have not felt compelled to post here in the past, though I am a daily reader. Thank you for the rich thoughtful commentary, Pete.

  64. Matt September 14th, 2009 at 12:29 pm

Nice work Pete! Deserving milestone for the blog…

  65. Skinny Mike September 14th, 2009 at 12:29 pm

    This is intense! Go Yanks!

  66. kevin September 14th, 2009 at 12:29 pm

jeter is a king. and we will be facing torre in a few months.

    kinda scary!

  67. MikeC September 14th, 2009 at 12:29 pm

    I never win anything.

  68. Corey September 14th, 2009 at 12:29 pm

those luggage tags sure do look cool :)

  69. warden September 14th, 2009 at 12:30 pm

If Joba stinks it up again tonight, shouldn’t the Yankees consider taking him out of the rotation for the rest of the year? I don’t believe these 3 inning starts are helping with his development. He could start again fresh next March as a starter. What about giving Aceves another shot as a starter?

  70. Jeff in Canada September 14th, 2009 at 12:31 pm

Are “international” bloggers eligible? It’s hard to find these kinds of things in…western Canada.

    Eh?

  71. Don September 14th, 2009 at 12:31 pm

I would love to have a Yankees ski cap for the winter!

  72. Heather September 14th, 2009 at 12:32 pm

The Yankees have a diffrent vice this season and the fans do as well and I should know I am there a lot as I work at the stadium

  73. Marco September 14th, 2009 at 12:33 pm

I was hoping in a way that the Yankees lose a few games in this stretch. It will keep them on their toes. It was good to see some emotion in yesterday’s game.

  74. Michael Turner September 14th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

did i win. what a fun game pete.

  75. JH September 14th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

    thats pretty cool.
    1 m yikes.

  76. Ed H. September 14th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

How about a free ticket to witness Carl Pavano’s next MRI?

  77. Jeter's Edge - Pete, we need registered names and an edit button! September 14th, 2009 at 12:35 pm

Anyone see the hot concessions girl catch the foul ball yesterday?

  78. Joe Andreasen September 14th, 2009 at 12:35 pm

How about the Sunday edition of the NY Post was the Jeter tribute?

  79. the artist formerly known as (sic) September 14th, 2009 at 12:35 pm

  81. Jill September 14th, 2009 at 12:37 pm

Love the blog Pete and would love to win a prize…Go Yankees

  82. GP September 14th, 2009 at 12:37 pm

    1,000,000. Wow. Congrats.

  83. Paul V September 14th, 2009 at 12:37 pm

What about the dinner you mentioned a few weeks ago, Pete?

  84. DaveO September 14th, 2009 at 12:38 pm

Congrats on all the comments Pete. I’d love some of that stuff.

  85. Evan September 14th, 2009 at 12:39 pm

This milestone is best understood in a baseball context. Jeter’s big milestone was for outlasting (and outhitting) the Iron Horse after all these years. Rather than the 1,000,000th commenter, I’d like to celebrate LoHud passing AOL in longevity (or at least in number of annoying free CDs given out)

  86. Joba Joba September 14th, 2009 at 12:40 pm

    I hope I win

  87. Jason C September 14th, 2009 at 12:40 pm

Great job Pete, those are nice prizes!

  88. m September 14th, 2009 at 12:40 pm

So none of my comments counted? That accounts for the difference… :(

  89. jay destro September 14th, 2009 at 12:41 pm

i want a soup cup because i like soup.

  90. upstate kate September 14th, 2009 at 12:41 pm

very nice Pete…hope I win, but it would be really great if it was one of your long time posters.

BTW: you can often find those prootional items on ebay

  91. saucY September 14th, 2009 at 12:41 pm

what is up with espn.com today. they’re launching espnboston.com? what exactly is the difference?

  92. upstate kate September 14th, 2009 at 12:42 pm

    that should be “promotional”

  93. Mark September 14th, 2009 at 12:42 pm

I don’t comment much but please know, Pete, that there are many longtime loyal readers of your blog who appreciate your blog immensely. Thanks for your hard work.

  94. Stanzy September 14th, 2009 at 12:42 pm

I hope the flurry of comments that comes when the number approaches 1M (easy to figure out thanks to the per post comment counts) doesn’t take down your server. :)

  95. Tom in N.J. September 14th, 2009 at 12:42 pm

    Cool!

  96. Sty H September 14th, 2009 at 12:43 pm

    Wow, that’s a big pile of… well, it’s a pile!

  97. mr. krabs September 14th, 2009 at 12:44 pm

will get there real quick now that he posted that

wasn’t dinner supposed to be part of the deal or did i miss that on the prize list

  98. Derek September 14th, 2009 at 12:45 pm

    Great blog, Pete!

  99. Bill in Boston September 14th, 2009 at 12:45 pm

do you have a half-eaten baby ruth for us too? kidding kidding :)

  100. m September 14th, 2009 at 12:45 pm

    Rishi,

LOL. I was going to stop reading after the title, but I was curious.

So it was all a joke, huh? We kind of figured that out. He’s only now realizing that certain things don’t translate well on the internet? Jeez, really?

  101. Uncle Ellsworth September 14th, 2009 at 12:47 pm

    did I win?

  102. Andrew GTLU Bronze Medalist September 14th, 2009 at 12:47 pm

ESPNBoston is part of ESPN’s new “ESPN Local” campaign designed to run local newspapers out of business by providing what they consider comprehensive coverage of local markets. I think there is already an ESPN Chicago up and running–but I don’t think the launch got quite as much main-site publicity as ESPNBoston is getting today (perhaps playing to their own niche a bit much, no?)

  103. crawdaddy September 14th, 2009 at 12:47 pm

The Yankees had an opportunity to sign both, Willie Mays and Ernie Banks, but due to the well-documented racist views of George Weiss, they remained a segregated team until 1955 and Elston Howard. Just imagine what could’ve happended if Weiss so the error of his ways six years earlier? The demise of the Yankees in the mid-60s might not have happened, but that’s water under the bridge.

Anyhow, a great article about what may have been.

  104. Jeter's Edge - Pete, we need registered names and an edit button! September 14th, 2009 at 12:48 pm

Since Pete gave us a time stamp of 12:00 with 999,306 comments you could theoretically keep track of the total number of posts by adding the additional posts made after 12:00 in every need thread Pete makes from here on out. Of course, the count is given right on the homepage at the bottom of each thread so it’s easy enough to add. The only problem with that is some people, for whatever reason, go back and comment in old posts when nobody is going to read them because they think they are being clever. That would screw up my counting method. But we’ll see how close I am! I’ll keep guessing throughout the day!

  105. Erik September 14th, 2009 at 12:49 pm

Congrats, pete! This blog is truly teriffic! I check it at least 3 times a day!!

  106. RMEL September 14th, 2009 at 12:49 pm

RMEL, from a previous thread………..we disagree on this. IMO, there is nothing to wait and see about. Phil is a starter and that’s where his future lies. I expect him to be an exceptional starter……….not necessarily next year, but in a few years…and he will be one for a long time.

    —-
Betsy, thats the things….Its about next year…not 2 or 3 years down the road…the Yankees are a win now team…Look what happened last year….They cannot wait for players to develop if they do not have too….IF they can get a proven innings ready started they will get him…you have to be happy with Hughes pen know, right?

  107. Rob NY September 14th, 2009 at 12:51 pm

Haven’t been able to comment much but allow me to say this, went to the Hall of Fame this weekend and it is an absolute must for any baseball fans out there. I have at least 150 pictures and I could have spent plenty more time than I did. (I was with folks who didn’t love the history of baseball as much as I do.) I wore a Pete Rose t-shirt because IMO the man belongs. It really is like a church of baseball, fully stocked with whispering parishoners and an entry fee. On a side note, thanks and congrats to Pete and all the wonderful community of posters on the great success of the blog.

  108. DAvid September 14th, 2009 at 12:51 pm

What exactly is a Yankee soup can? I guess I want to know cuz I just commented for no other reason

  109. Dan September 14th, 2009 at 12:52 pm

Go Pete – best damn Yankees news blog

  110. bartap74 September 14th, 2009 at 12:52 pm

I’m not going to make a comment just so I can win a prize.

  111. bartap74 September 14th, 2009 at 12:53 pm

    Really, I’m not.

  112. the artist formerly known as (sic) September 14th, 2009 at 12:53 pm

I don’t know if I want a shirt that Pete just found in his car…. huh.

  113. Eric September 14th, 2009 at 12:53 pm

My chances of winning are about as good as A.J. Burnett getting through a start without a walk or a wild pitch.

  114. zac September 14th, 2009 at 12:54 pm

I thought the millionth post was awarded a dinner with Pete at Foley’s in the offseason?

  115. Andrew GTLU Bronze Medalist September 14th, 2009 at 12:54 pm

It’s not a can of soup, it’s a cup that you are supposed to use to eat soup out of. It was the free giveaway at last week’s Tuesday night game against the Rays. It was sponsored by Boar’s Head and it comes with a small plastic spoon attached, along with a lid in case you want to drink your soup broth. The lid also means it could double as a cup for drinkin’

  116. bus driver September 14th, 2009 at 12:54 pm

Huge yankee fan if not pete I wouldn’t of know all the updates bcs. John & suzan they really don’t give updates like you pete

  118. Gary September 14th, 2009 at 12:54 pm

Great stuff..my mouth is watering now for the soup!

  119. Russel September 14th, 2009 at 12:54 pm

Does anyone know how many innings joba could pith tonight. I hope he brings it together since we need him for the playoffs.

  120. Tim September 14th, 2009 at 12:55 pm

Does anyone know if the Yankees gave Jeter something for passing Gehrig’s career hits recored?

  121. Damien September 14th, 2009 at 12:56 pm

I’m about to move to Sydney, Australia from NYC, be nice to pack some Lohud gear and spread the word downunda!

  122. Yankslaw September 14th, 2009 at 12:56 pm

Has there been any word on postseason ticket sales? Obviously I don’t want to assume postseason berth, but some information would be nice.

  123. MT. September 14th, 2009 at 12:56 pm

  124. m September 14th, 2009 at 12:57 pm

No, they did a big front page deal with Chicago, too. And I found out about it before they put it up on the front page because of Pedro Gomez’s article on the big HFA of Fenway. I’ll have to reread it again, but I don’t think he mentioned the wall once. He mentioned the old girl charm, the friendly right field corner, and the loyal fans.

And why is espn.com using Ortiz as the face of the Red Sox? Shouldn’t Varitek be there with his “C” jersey, too? :P

Anyone know what the Yanks magic number is to clinch a playoff spot? I’m thinking it’s got to be around 8 or 9…?

    ======================================

I checked the records back to 2001. Any team that won 94 games each of those years would have gotten the AL wild card. So, if that holds for this year, the Yankees only need to win 2 more games.

    Justin (New York)

Buster,Is Brett Gardner eligible for the post season roster???thanks!

    Buster Olney (12:59 PM)

Justin: Yes. Anybody who is in the organization on Aug. 31, whether on the DL or what have you, is effectively eligible for the post-season (some machinations have to be done for guys not on the 40-man roster, but that’s easily taken care of with one guy on the 60-day DL, like a Nady).

    Justin (Redlands, CA)

Hi Buster, is this the year the Angels finally get over the hump and knock Boston out in the first round?

    Buster Olney (1:00 PM)

Justin: Put it this way — they’re much better suited to do it this year than in past years, because they have more power in their lineup. But let’s face it — the bullpen is going to be the Angels’ greatest area of concern in October. We’ll see if Kazmir (who presumably will be lined up to pitch Game 3 in Boston, where he has had some success) can make a difference.

    ——

They are launching local sites around the country. ESPN Chicago has been around for about a year now I believe. I am pretty sure they are planning on launching a site for every major market in the next couple years.

Sports Business Journal has covered this pretty extensively I believe (I don’t get to read it as much as I used to). I think by delievering high-qualtity local coverage geared specifically to each market they are looking to cut out many of the local newspaper website coverage (as well as be the first stop for local sports fans)

“Prince Fielder tied the Brewers’ club RBI mark — which, of course, won’t make it any easier for Milwaukee to keep him long-term. Pure speculation: I think he’ll be playing for the Red Sox next season. As Keith Law wrote the other day, the Brewers will soon face the quandary of capitalizing on his trade value after this season or risking losing him after the 2011 season.”

  196. m September 14th, 2009 at 1:23 pm

    Rishi,

No. Perhaps because Ichiro’s a M-ariner? I saw a picture up right away on espn or mlb that showed Ichiro tipping his helmet, so I’m sure the Rangers paused the game for the event.

While it’s true that Ichiro’s milestone isn’t getting much play, it’s not really a milestone per se. It’s a streak.

Somehow, I think the Jeter thing was partly a celebration of Gehrig and partly a celebration of Jeter.

Why on earth do the Sox need Prince Fielder next year? They already have one giant guy as their DH who has been barely adequate. He is still signed for two more seasons I think.

Is Prince Fielder really that valuable as a first baseman?

    Am I #1 million? :)

  229. Benjamin in KC September 14th, 2009 at 1:34 pm

The Munson book is prize enough – what a great week. My fav stadium giveaway was the hand sanitizer key chain night. Really? What ever happened to just good ol hat, glove and bat day?

  230. TJ September 14th, 2009 at 1:35 pm

    I like prizes…

  231. Stateman52 September 14th, 2009 at 1:35 pm

    Great contest and great prizes!

  232. frank s September 14th, 2009 at 1:36 pm

pete and everyone it has been fun following the blog this season. if the season ended today we would play the tigers, i like that match-up but they are also one team that can be very scary if and when they get hot. verlander and percello is a great 1-2 in a short series. cc and andy have been outstanding in the second half, but who knows with aj and joba. what does everyone think…

  233. Sherpa September 14th, 2009 at 1:37 pm

That stuff would be great to get!

  234. Joba Joba September 14th, 2009 at 1:38 pm

    Who doesn’t like prizes??

  236. Stu H September 14th, 2009 at 1:40 pm

Was the chicago site published on the front page with such a huge mess of articles to go with it? Simmons, Gammons, and Neyer (who are all Red Sox fans) don’t show bias?

  237. Chris September 14th, 2009 at 1:42 pm

Always appreciate the info and updates Pete from here in Sunny South Dakota. This lifelong Yankee Fan will be making the first trip to the new stadium next week to catch Friday’s game with the Sox and Monday’s with the Royals – very excited and should be great.

  244. Mikey1212 September 14th, 2009 at 1:46 pm

    Great prizes

  245. michael September 14th, 2009 at 1:48 pm

    What, no hand sanitizer keychain?

  246. MG September 14th, 2009 at 1:53 pm

That’s a neat thing to give away something for this milestone. Congrats on getting there. I’ve been reading for years and it’s always a top notch source of good info. You and River Ave are my baseball lifeline… well that and going to 60-70 games a season.

  247. kashk_va September 14th, 2009 at 1:55 pm

So much for work this afternoon. only thing better would have been for tonights game to be an afternoon game!

  257. Chris September 14th, 2009 at 2:32 pm

Am I the only one who kind of hopes that the 1,000,000th comment is ironically inane? (like this one)

  258. Eights September 14th, 2009 at 2:33 pm

This is a neat little promotion you’ve got going Pete.
