"Chico,
who did springsteen’s song change your life — Digya fall asleep while driving?"

Assuming you mean how, not who... I was 14 (too young to drive, had to hitchhike from Tupelo to Memphis) and had been going to rock shows for about a year. My mother encouraged it, just as she encouraged my being a Yankees fan. Up until that first 1976 Springsteen show, I had seen some good ones... Elvis Presley, Kool and the Gang, both the Who and the Guess Who, Paul McCartney, the Grateful Dead... but on that April night in Memphis, Bruce Springsteen changed the way I hear and appreciate music by raising the bar about commitment and passion. The only time I've seen that level met since is Clash and Joe Strummer shows.

"Bishop Danced" is my favorite Bruce Springsteen song, but the live "10th Avenue Freeze Out" I got in Memphis 4/29/76 was the one that changed my life.

Here's Springsteen taking in a game at Yankee Stadium:

"Actually, she is a demon in person. But she can cook"

LOL is she? So there's a reason her whole "perky" cooking personna comes across as fake and is therefore annoying? Because it is fake?

She has three strikes against her in my book...

1. The whole EVOO thing. Every. single. episode.

2. Her propensity to use mushrooms in most of her dishes. Ugh I hate them.. disgusting fungus that they are, lol.

3. Talking like a five year old with words like delish and yummo etc etc.

:D

Gotta hand it to her though.. annoying and perky though she is, she's made a fortune from it. I grudgingly admire that, even if she way too perky.
